CLEO and NICO

These energetic three year old siblings are friendly, lovable, playful, and a joy to have as family. They are ready to give their people all the love. Cleo is an adorable, curious tortoiseshell with no hesitation to explore her new surroundings. Nico the Nebelung is a little cautious, but just as excited to be loved and fun. They are both full of energy and will do great in a happy home. Older kids who will play with them would be purrfect!

Cleo and Nico do not do well with dogs. They are threatened by them and so their new family will have to be dog-free. They have lived with other cats before so they may do just fine with friendly welcoming cats.

Although Cleo and Nico have no desire to leave their beloved home, they would like a yard where they can play outside in the summer. They are so full of energy and the sheer joy of life that racing through grass from tree to shrub would be a thrill!

MARIA

A special wonderful girl, this is Maria.

You may remember that she was found outside of Homer, shot in the face and hip. Her jaw was totally shattered and her mouth is misshapen but Maria is amazing. Although she can’t close her mouth and she does tend to drool, she has overcome all obstacles and is living her best life.

Maria is a love! She loves to have a cat friend to play with. (A lot of cats is too much for her). Best with no dogs. But mid age kind children, that might be a must for her new home. She loves attention, the kind that hangs out with her and with play toys with her, and go outside with her while she explores the yard. She is not a lap cat or pick me up cat but she is full of the spirit of life and love. And she needs a settled family who is the same. She will make you happy.

She is probably a couple years old, ready to set out in the world for a great family where she has all the things that bring joy–a cat buddy and playmate, kids that are kind, and a safe yard.

If you are interested in this darling girl, please give us a call at 907 980-8898

DUKE (pronounced Dukie)

Duke, pronounced Dukee, is loyal, loving, playful boy who is gray and white with a silky coat and a swishy flag tail. And he has the cutest kitten face.  We think he is about 5 years old.

Duke desperately wants a loving family, and a friend to have fun with indoors and outdoors. His favorite things are chasing toys such as balls and shaker mice, eating any and all food, and surveying his territory from high up in a tower. Duke knows his name and comes running with his flagpole tail straight up in the air when called. He eagerly awaits pets and snacks of all kinds. At your dinner time he loves to join and check what’s on the menu. Duke’s past as a street cat left him a little rough around the edges but he is anxious to fit in and be a good boy. He needs a home with a carefree kitty friend,  a loving family of humans, and absolutely no dogs. He is good with small children as long as they can understand his boundaries. He is waiting and ready to trust someone to teach him with kindness how to be a family kitty. He is currently being fostered in Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

BUD LONGTAIL

Bud is a long haired, young golden boy about a year old. He came from a very filthy hoarding situation where he mostly avoided people. He was very shy at first, but now in a normal loving home, he is outgoing and having a great time.  He has bloomed.

Bud does great with other cats and nice dogs, and soon he will be his human’s beloved, devoted boy. Kindness and understanding work their magic.

He is still feet shy at times and does best with people who sit down and let him come to them, and then he shows how much he loves gentle touches and sweet words.

This darling guy just needs a little time and having a kind human and kitty friend to show him the way will help be a wonderful family cat. He will need a safe place to go outside with his family after he is bonded with home and family. In Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

CHARLIE

When is it lucky to get sick? When you’ve been homeless outside and the nice people feed you but they don’t bring you inside where it’s warm and safe.

For Charlie, getting  sick may have saved his life! Since being taken inside, his life changed for the better.

It only took Charlie a minute to adjust and to get well, but he was friendly once he knew he was safe. Very friendly. He was obviously missing a home and family. He is friendly with other cats and likes he likes to play. He may be about 6 years old but he’s high energy. He is so excited to be in a home that he gets suped up playing with toys or other playful cats and he can accidentally scratch. Never aggressively or purposely. But being safe  and not being alone and hungry and scared out in the cold is so overwhelmingly joyful, he has to show it.

Charlie is a mid-age adult, about 6 years old. He had a dental to take care of two broken teeth. It’s not easy living out in the mean old world along. And he never wants to do that again. He wants, and deserves, a home with a loving family, hopefully a cat friend, and a nice outside area where he can play without worry that he can never be in a home with his loving family.

In Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

SUSHI

Sushi came to us as a skittish stray kitty who had sought refuge from the cold winter near a crazy cat lady’s doorstep. Lucky for her, the lady was up for the challenge. She trapped her and brought her in. Now, she is so happy to be safe and with other kitty friends.
She is a diva who will allow sneaky pets in but they have to be to her specifications such as .1 seconds in length and when she is not paying attention. Other than that, she spends her time playing and grooming her kitty friends. She is great with gentle boy cats. If your kitty is lonely, consider this cutie! She will be an amazing companion and friend to your cat. And, she can be your spirit kitty! No human kiddos please.

She is in Anc. Text 907.960.0096 to learn more.

HUTCH

It’s been a long time coming, the moment when Hutch is ready for a family of his own. He came to us in such bad shape, with a collar that had worked it’s way under his front legs, tearing a hole under his leg, and then back to his midriff where it damaged more flesh. He had to have surgery to repair the damage. And then the time to heal. But at last, this sweetheart guy is ready for a home and people of his own.

He’s a gorgeous cream and gold short haired boy, maybe a year or two old. And the sweetest thing ever. He was so patient with all the treatments. He was Just so happy that someone was helping him to be free of the awful collar and helping him with the pain. And giving him love and food! That was so great. He loves attention and he is great with other nice cats. He will be the perfect little guy to join a nice happy family.

Hutch has been through enough struggle for a while now and hopes never to have a collar put on him again. But he would like a nice safe yard to be in with his purrfect family when spring comes and he can enjoy the world of warmth, love, home, and family.  He’s in Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898
