Ginny is a beautiful, warm, delightful cat, estimated to be about 2 years old.

Ginny loves being with people and she loves to play. She’s fairly talkative in a sweet, quiet way and likes to tell you all about her day. She has long hair and a face that kind of looks like a raccoon. With her blue eyes, she may have some ragdoll in her background.

She’ll snuggle up with you for hours if you like. She enjoys being your best friend and companion. She doesn’t want to be forced to go outside but she may do great with a little deck or yard area where she can hang out with her people and smell the flowers. Once she has found her beloved humans, she has no interest at all in leaving home.

With the softest and fluffiest coat ever, Wally is lovingly nicknamed Flip Flop by his foster parents. He loves to flop down, roll on his back, expose his belly, and flip to his other side. All the while purring up a storm!

This incredibly sweet boy loves attention so much! He wants all love, belly rubs, and full body rubs. He is a talker too, saying thank you for the pets and gentle scrubs and scratches. Meows and trills of contentment flow from him with such happiness you can’t help but smile.

Living the life of a spoiled housecat is what Wally loves now, but he wasn’t always sure. Coming into rescue as a wild kitten he was very shy and didn’t show much interest in wanting to live in a home in such proximity to people. Then one day that changed, and he started realizing that having the close companionship of a family had its perks. And what a lovebug he is now!

Due to a previous urinary obstruction, he is on a special diet that will need to be continued for the rest of his life. He likes the taste and eats very well both the wet and dry food. He much prefers stew wet food to pate!

We know this wonderful boy has a great family just waiting for him to cherish and spoil him forever. And provide all kinds of toys which he loves, especially his catnip fish toy! He loves other cats so he will need a kitty friend in his new home, and he does fine with cat approved nice dogs. Older kids would be fine, but he still gets startled easily so a quieter home would suit him best. A yard to enjoy basking in the sun is one of his requirements too.

She’s all about love. Graycie wants to be with her person, be not only a companion but an interactive family member who shares all secrets and makes everything better every single day.

Graycie is a beautiful fluffy gray girl about 5 years old. She has been living as the only cat in the house and she prefers it that way. All the more love for her. And she promises to do her part! If you have ever felt that you need more supervision in the bathroom or oversight of your dishwashing or a reminder that it’s playtime (its always playtime), curious, sassy Graycie is just the cat you need. She can be a clown with a cute little black nose and a soft medium gray coat. She’s a talker and will converse on any topics you choose. She’ll also keep your feet warm at night and defend you against wand toys and anything that bounces or rolls.

Endless pets make for endless purrs with this big hunk of love! Darkness–that’s his name– wants all love! He’ll happily sit next to you and even flop over for some super gentle side rubs and sing songs of contentment with his purr. Even with only 3 legs, he’s sooo happy.

Life wasn’t always this wonderful for this sweet boy. At one point he had a nice house with a kitty friend and a wonderful family and then suddenly it was gone. He was put outside with no option to come back inside his home. Confused and sad, this is how he would spend several years of his life. He became withdrawn from wanting human attention. Yes, he was given food, water, and some sort of shelter where he lived but it wasn’t the life he once loved and still wanted.

Then one day he came home with a badly broken leg. He was rushed to the vet where it was concluded that there was no possible way to save the leg. He underwent surgery to amputate his back leg. That’s when Darkness came into a loving foster home with people to dote and love on him. In spite of this new mobility challenge, he quickly showed just how sweet and loving he is. How much he has missed that human love. And his appreciation and love for affection blossomed!

Darkness doesn’t mind other cats if they give him his space and don’t try to be his friend. But he would be just fine as the only cat in the house. He also will do fine with a mellow older quiet dog who isn’t rambunctious and overly energetic. He loves the bottom cubby of his cat tree for long naps and after having a snack he seeks out his person for that one-on-one time. He will be fine with nice older children. A safe yard where he can spend some time outside will be good for him to have the joy of the natural world at its best where he can be out if he wants. But he never wants to be stuck outside all alone in the cold again.

It’s not often that we get what we call an “Insta Cat” into rescue, however Firkle is one. He walks in the door with an air of confidence and wants to make friends with his family right away.

Firkle is a gentleman in his neat tuxedo coat with matching white toes and boots. He will talk to you that sounds like he is saying “Hurry up hooman! You’re too slow!” when he’s waiting for his wet catfood. Treats and toys are cool in his book of a perfect cat life too.

He doe need to be the ONLY cat in the house. He doesn’t mind nice dogs that will peacefully co-habitat with him. With his sweet friendly personality, we are confident he would be fine with gentle children to shower him with love.  Being in a room with a closed door isn’t his favorite thing. He needs and craves consistent companionship and being a part of all the family activities.

Mr Stubbs is a blue eyed seal-point Siamese. A dreamboat. And he’s fine with that. He’s ready to win your heart with his looks and with his charming ways. Once he knows that you’re the one, he will doo all those cute little things to get your attention and get pets. He loves to sit on lap and give little nose boops. He might even let you pick him up and give him kisses

Eight months old. The purrfect age for kitties to declare freedom from the nest and set out for the adventures of a new life with a new family who will be their beloved ones forever. Edna, such a sweet girl with the perfect eyeliner. With people she trusts and loves, she is just a snuggle bug!

She’s an older girl who loves her alone time with her human. Meaning she’ll be best alone with no other cats. She hasn’t been around dogs, but she’d probably be good around calm animals. Even though she is around 10 years old, Edna still loves to play with her cat toys and birdwatch out the window. She’ll greet you when you come home and want immediate scratches and love. Sometimes she’ll even do a happy dance by making air biscuits. She’s a professional biscuit baker.

When she’s all settled into her new home, she may like to be offered a safe place to go outside with her family. Edna is a mellow sweetheart ready to find her forever family.

Cove is around 2 years old and always keeps her short coat neatly groomed to purrfection. She enjoys sitting in windows and playing with anything she comes across, especially anything crinkly and things that make sounds. She is a very vocal cat who craves attention and will need a kitty friend in her new home.

Cove loves the back of her neck scratched and sleeping by people’s heads. This is the way to her heart! She gets along well with dogs and other female cats but is not fond of male cats. Ollie is a beautiful young girl who is a tuxedo with a dash of calico. She’s just a kitten/teenager, about 9 months old.

Ollie is so sweet with people. She just adores them. She walked into her new foster home and immediately captured their hearts. She sat on laps and purred and flirted around them like she had found paradise just being with people who would love her.

Wonderful with people, but Ollie wants to be the one and only pet in her new home.  We don’t know what happened in her past to make her this way, but she will need a family of humans, no cats and no dogs. She is good with both adults and nice kids that are gentle and kind. She would love to have a special human in her new home to play with inside and also to have fun with outdoors on those sunny nice days. She will need a safe yard to explore while her family does their outside things. We’re sure she would be excellent at helping to plant flowers.

Cypress is one of your rare orange females! She takes real pride in keeping her luscious coat neatly groomed and she is soooooo soft! Just like bunny fur. Wow!

And she is a best friend kind of cat! She wants to be with her person, snuggled up in the bed! She’s not interested in the other animals in the house. She does get along just fine with respectful dogs but doesn’t want the companionship of other cats. She would be okay co-habituating with another cat who doesn’t want to be her friend or would be fine as the only cat, if she gets lots of attention from her hoomans.

Cypress is happy to be anywhere in the house, but her favorite spot to relax and chill is in the bathtub! She is an avid bug cat too – you know a fly hates to see her coming. Tarot is unfazed by his canine companions. Whether lounging side-by-side or darting around the house in a playful chase, he’s confident and comfortable around dogs. She’s shy. That needs to be right up front. This beautiful blue-eyed lynx point Siamese girl is doing great in her foster home; she can be pet in her special place and she is excellent with the house rules and comfy in the human world of people in and out, and such a great little girl with the other kitties. But if took a long time for that to happen. She came to us very scared and with no experience of living in a house with people. She had been born outside in a small colony that a nice woman was feeding.

So here she is now, beautiful Lilac with her blue blue eyes and her skittish ways doing fine in a life that includes nice people, and dogs and cats. She is actually doing great, as long as people don’t feel like they can walk up to her and handle her any time. She loves to play and romp around with her kitty friends and can entertain herself with toys and other cats for hours until it’s time for everyone to snuggle up and nap.  She’s a sweet little girl not so different than any other family cat except that she will need to be the one who makes the choice about when she wants to be pet by people. Respect and patience and love is what she needs.

She’s been with us almost a year and she is probably a year and 5 months old now. Gentle from day one but now accustomed to kind people and happy to join a family of loving understanding humans and cat friends. She must have cat friends in her new home. She has also been around very gentle dogs and does fine with respectful ones,

Birdie is a little sweetie pie, or maybe Tweetie Pie! She loves to race around and play with her kitty friends. She’s a kitten so that is her focus in life, as it should be. Playtime!!

Birdie is 3 1/2 to 4 months old, just leaving the nest and she is still a little shy of people. The people have always been there with her, but playing is what has captured her since she was tiny. She’s all ready to be some kind family’s super hunting girl. She has perfected all the moves. So her people will need to take her and her kitty friend outside to play, to explore the bushes to check for any invading voles or shrews. A yard or other safe outside area is important for this little one; she’s nature’s child.

She needs a cat friend in her new home, does fine with nice dogs, and must have a caring and understanding family that first comes play and then lots of cuddles.

His name is Bruiser but ‘Cheeks’ would have been appropriate too. He’s a BIG solid, hunkum boy who grew those magnificent chubby cheeks as an unneutered tomcat. They might have been an advantage in his world of intimidating other tomcats and impressing the girls. But as far as being good for his eyesight, it was a bad deal.

As happens with other big cheeked boys, Bruiser ended up with entropion where the cheeks crowd the face and the eyelids turn inward as they push against the eyes; the lashes brush and irritate the eyes, creating a painful, irritating condition that causes tearing and infection and difficulty seeing.

For Bruiser like most cats with entropion it was not a happy situation. So Bruiser got the surgery to tuck the eyelids back in place and now he is a very very happy big hunkum boy.

Bruiser is amazing. He’s a rock. Solid muscle now with a little chunkiness that makes him a great cuddlemaster. Wrapping arms around this big boy and getting the purr of love back is worth everything. He is easy going (now that he’s no longer cranky from being matted and having painful eyes). He has quite a personality with some humor thrown in. He does okay with other cat who are fine doing their own thing. We don’t really know about dogs but he would probably be fine with a mellow one. Unlikely he’d be interested in putting up with the ‘get in your face’ kind of nonsense. People are great. He’s cool just hanging out with his people, being ‘the guy’. No muss no fuss.

He will need a safe place to go outside and bask in nature, let the world see what a magnificent creature he is. Maybe explore the bushes. Or just chill.

Pretty, quirky girl Italy doesn’t know what to be! A tabby, tortie, or calico. She’s a mix of stripes and beautiful colors.

She loves to be with her people. Not only with you but ON you is better. Laps are good but legs as you lay in bed, or even her head on your head works too. She is flexible.

This sweet little girl was rescued from a group of 12 cats. She does fine with other welcoming cats. She does love to play and a playful cat buddy would be a nice companion have in her new home. She is tolerant of the big dog in her foster home. She very much enjoys the attention and love of her people and is willing to return their love ten times over.

Italy was found outside by the nice man who took her (and her housemates) in and she would like a home that has a safe place for her to go out and explore the bushes. She is curious and excited by the sights and sounds of the natural world like a normal cat.

Meet Honey Bear, AKA Woolly Bugger! She is fluffy just like the fly fishing lure! Her purrrrsonality is that of a very curious and playful kitten but with the ability to crash out on the bed at the speed of light. She came into rescue with her sister Dapple, and their mom who was again pregnant.

Likes: Cat tree, toys, soft food, scrambled eggs, snuggles and a large area to have zoomies!

Dislikes: aggressive kitties, dogs who steal all the lovins, and being told “no”. (She is fine with nice doggos.)

She will need a kitty friend in her new home. (If that was her sister Dapple, it would be perfect. But they do not need to be adopted together as long as she has a feline friend.) Honey is a natural girl king of kitty and will need a safe place to play outside during the lovely days of spring.

Tiki! The ultimate petit darling of a girl! With a coat like silk that flows when she prances and a voice that chatters with happiness, she just glows. Life is grand to her and it shows. Not only does Tiki have a wonderful attitude, personality and looks, she also carries uniqueness with her all the time. Her tail does a full curl over her back. It is so fluffy and seems to have every hair in place all the time. She is just under one year old!

Tiki is very playful not only with toys but with other cats as well. Whether she is chasing the catnip mouse across the floor or doing the zoomies with her cat friends she is on the move a lot. When she does decide to have some down time, she loves to stretch out on the bed and go into that deep sleep and dream. Happy dreams of course.

She does great with the dog in her foster home and would be just fine with kids who understand kindness to cats with gentle pets and love to share. Now that the days are getting warmer and longer, she loves being in the catio and will need to have a safe outdoor area she can spend time with her family and feel the grass beneath her feet. It’s interesting to know a cat’s history. But sometimes it’s almost too hard to tell their story. That is the case with Tazzie.

Tazzie is so pretty, and an absolute sweetheart. If you want love; you need Tazzie. She is a friendly purring darling who loves to be with her people. Cuddle with you. Sleep with you. Be picked up and given kisses. Happy to see you walk in the door after work. The almost perfect best friend cat companion.

She is all that wonderfulness and more. She is amazing. But the most amazing thing is how Tazzie is such a kind and loving girl after she has suffered the pain and terror of being tortured. Except for the very obvious scars on her head and over her body, you would hardly know that Tazzie had ever been anything but surrounded by complete love.

She was loved; that is obvious. Her person loved her very much. And when she had to go out of town she asked a good friend to stay at her home to take care of Tazzie. When she got home, she found raw wounds all over Tazzie’s body! It wasn’t until she remembered the camera she had left on her shelter and saw the video that she found out what had happened to her beloved cat.  The friend’s boyfriend had screamed at Tazzie and chased her around the house and repeatedly burned her with a lit cigarette. All over her body.

The outcome for the torturer was a few days in jail, a minor fine and not being allowed to have an animal for some period of time. For Tazzie it was a painful recovery of healing from her wounds. The physical scars are still there; you can feel them on her head, her back, her sides. And overcoming the fear of torture. With the love and devotion of her mom, she has clearly managed to hold on to her trust of humans, her sweet way of being.

And then another tragedy. Tazzie’s beloved mom died in a car accident and once again she found herself without a protector, this time homeless and loveless. And yet now, in her foster home, she is still, or again, a most loving sweet girl. Always ready for affection and reassurance that everything is alright. And full of hope that there will be a good life ahead. That there is happiness waiting for her. And that is what we intend to find for her.

Tazzie  is probably around 6 years old. She does not seem to enjoy other cats; likely she was the only cat in her past home. She would love to be the one and only again but it’s possible that another cat that can do their own thing would be fine. We don’t know about dogs.

Tazzie  will need a stable, loving, and absolutely devoted family where there is a little yard that she can go outside to enjoy and take in the peace of the natural world. Nothing less will be acceptable.

He’s about 10 months old now and even as a teenager, he is a darling. Happy to be friends with anyone who will be kind to him. Meet Sadie! Sadie loves nothing more than being with her people once she warms up, which doesn’t take long. She’ll be the first to greet you at the door and enjoys sitting in her foster mom’s lap while she works or knits (bonus if there’s a heated blanket involved).

A smart, playful, and treat-motivated kitty, she loves playing with wand toys, having conversations with her foster mom, and exploring new nooks and crannies in the house. Seeking loving human mom and dad for Grey. He’s probably 9 months old now but he wants to be your baby kitty. Pets, snuggles, kisses, cuddles, laps to sit in and sedentary people he can lay next to–he needs all that.

Grey is a little darling guy who grew up with a bunch of other cats and he did great with them. Except maybe for demanding that they also give him lots of attention which his big brothers did. He has that annoying younger brother tendency to be a nuisance with the girls and he wants to play with the big guys but he doesn’t want to be bossed around. He is so darn cute with his emerald green eyes and his soft fluffy coat that he’s hard to resist.

Grey needs a family that includes humans who want to give him attention, love, affection. He would likely be a great companion cat for an older child who wants a persistent cuddle bear. Or a couple without human kids who wants to dote on the furry ones. A cat buddy would be great. And he absolutely will need a yard to go outside in when the weather is good. He’s been free to go into the yard of his former home since he was a kitten.

Nacho Libre and Chicken Strip 

Nacho Libre and Chicken Strip are two irresistibly sweet and spirited girls looking for their forever home! They were both originally from a hoarding situation where their mom showed up to a neighbors house to harbor her kittens. The family had the kitties for about 2 years until they were unfortunately no longer able to care for them. This lovable duo are ready to find a place they can settle down once and for all.

Chicken Strip is a true companion at heart. Expect this curious and affectionate kitty to follow you around the house, chattering away with little meows as if to say, “Hey, let’s hang out!” She thrives on love and attention, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll be all over you with snuggles and purrs. While she can be a bit shy at first and may take some time to adjust to new surroundings, her charming and playful nature will shine through as she grows more confident in her new space.

We think he’s maybe 4 years old. He’s a big boy. Very fluffy. Sometimes he seems sorrowful but when he begin to trust that you are kind, there is a spark of hope in his eyes.

He could live with another cat that is gentle and welcoming. He seems to have been the target of other aggressive cats in the past and he’s not a fighter. So he needs a gentle companion if there is another cat in the house. We don’t know how he would be with a dog.

He does love to step outside and feel that freedom of the natural world, so he will need a safe place to go outside that is his home, his quiet and secure home. Where he can walk around the yard and then when he’s ready, he can go back inside his nice home with his loving people and be contented. And be love and even be happy.

He’s the  guy! If you’re looking for affectionate, don’t even glance in any other direction cause Brooke is mr cuddlebug of all times. It’s like he went to Kitten Congeniality School.

We think he’s about 4 or 5 months old and he grew up in a colony of cats that was taken care of by a man who adores every single one. And it shows. Brooke loves other kitties. He loves people. We don’t know about dogs.

He does have some eye tearing that a new owner should pay attention to. A gentle wipe of his eyes with a clean damp cloth does the trick. No infection has been found.

Brooke seems to love life and the world at large. In his new home, he will need a kitty playmate to share his fun and joy, which could be one of his brothers,  as well as a yard where he can go outside and play with his friends and his family.

If you have nice kids and a nice dog who would like a cat friend, Echo is the cat for you! She loves both.

We think she is a couple years old and although she does not want to be around another cat, she likes nice doggos (who are good with cats) and she enjoys the cuddles and attention of gentle kids. Lilac point Siamese boy, Chaz is as sweet as could possibly be.

Abandoned by his owner, he was feed for a while by a neighbor who then had to leave, and we got this most wonderful boy. Almost immediately friendly, just fine with the other cats and tolerant of the nice dogs, he was easy at winning hearts.

He will be happy with a happy family who has a good place for him to go outside and enjoy the summer on nice evenings, and then come back inside for love of his people.

Sweet Little Chipmunk! With her black and white abstract masterpiece of a coat she is really starting to come into her own. And being just under a year old she has lots of time for
adventures with her new furever family.

Upon arriving at rescue she was scared, but soon found that a human touch was nice. It was a safe place that offered security to play, purr, and cuddle when she wants too.
She is full of energy and with Spring right around the corner she is on the move from window to window.

Chipmunk has other favorites besides kind people. Toys (wand toys especially) are at the top of her list along with watching cat TV while lounging in her hammock. Playing
chase with her cat friends that involves a tumble or two is tons of fun too! She will need

UNO!  Perfect House Manners, Perfect Color and Perfect Personality.

Loves laps, being cuddled, watching movies on the couch and following you around the house to make sure he gets to be part of all the fun. He’s quite talkative too. You’ll never have to worry about not having someone to meow too with this boy.

UNO does great with most other cats, but what he really loves most of all in life is people. If he can always be with his hooman getting love and doted on he is the happiest boy ever!! Older children who will interact calmly with him would be fine to share his love and life. He also will do fine with a mellow dog.

He loves being out in the catio in his foster home so having a nice yard to spend time
with his family is a must on those glorious sunny days! He will supervise you at the BBQ

Ollie is a beautiful young lady with a nice short slick shiny coat that just glistens in the sun! She is tuxedo with a dash of calico. Her eyes draw you in and make you wonder what she is thinking. She is so sweet and just adores people and attention.

Ollie loves other cats and must have a cat friend in her new home to play with and enjoy the outdoors. She also loves going outside with her family! In foster, she has gone out with a harness and leash but particularly loves to have some personal space to explore like a stealthy cat.

Being the nice girl she is, she does fine with nice kids and with dogs who respect her space and are not too rambunctious.

A lover. Master biscuit maker. Social butterfly. All around purrrfection. Macaroni is a sweet and gentle boy who’s calm demeanor helps him fit in almost anywhere.

He loves to be held or a sit on a lap (or computer) and will demand plentiful pets and scratches for optimal biscuit making conditions. He is considerate baker and does his kneading without claws. Macaroni would enjoys kitty companions and dog friends and he will need a cat friend in his new home. He would be a suitable fit for a home with children as well.

This is Atticus. He’s a muscular Siamese boy about 3 years old. He’s very friendly and loves to be with people. He will make a show of himself just to be noticed and get pets.

He does fine with other cats. He has lived with lots of other cats and dogs and he is flexible about family members. But he must have humans who will love him and give him lots of attention.

Toes is wonderful, playful and curious and orange. She’s a girl.

Somewhere along the line, Toes missed the memo that she’s a kitty. Petite for her age, she is totally a tiny human in her view. Loves to ride on your shoulders and wants to know what you are doing all the time. She wants to learn everything, check everything out, and if you’re doing it, why can’t she? She will need to be able to go outside with her people. And when she’s all grown up, she will probably expect to be able to go outside on her own just like people do. She should never be allowed to drive; even though she has LOTS of toes, she is too short to reach the pedals.

She’s not so sure about other kitties… but is getting used to them, and hangs out in the same space without any issues. And sometimes tries to play a little with them- she’s learning! She may be a good playmate for another nice cat if they will just give her time. Nice Doggos are cool.  

She is about 7 months old in spite of being the size of the 5 month old and so ready to be some really wonderful family’s baby girl. Forever.

Lily is a very sweet, beautiful lady.  We think she is around 5 years old. She does her best to try to fit in and be a good girl so that she never has to be homeless again.

The first night alone in her foster room, she hopped up in windows trying hard not to disturb anything on the sill.  She really wants to do well and really wants to please humans. She is very affectionate and always peaceful being held on her terms, but not always when she has other things to do.

She was found outside as a stray. We don’t know how long she was on her own. She still startles easily but it’s obvious that her life has been as a family cat. It will take a minute for her to settle in and feel totally at ease. She is very much a cat that wants to be a good girl and she is so happy when humans are kind to her and give her love. She very much likes to sit next to you, where she will knead while you talk to her, then turns to face the wall and “goes to sleep”, appearing to be asleep.  She hopes you will remain next to her and not leave her alone.

She doesn’t seem to care for other cats. She hasn’t had much time to adjust to them in her foster home. But on initial meeting, she is not impressed with them. It’s possible given time and patience, she would do fine with another mellow cat. But for now, she prefers to be the only cat in the home.

Big gorgeous Maine Coonish boy, Deimos is a love. And look at those toes!

Deimos comes with an exotic fur coat and has a motor similar to a fine automobile.  He is overloaded with affection; loves to cuddle, make his signature biscuits and help you decompress by playing wand toy with you.  He’s great with humans and he’s great with other cats. And fine with dogs. He’s a total delight.

It seems that Deimos has some kind of food allergy that causes skin issues. But as long as he stays on his special catfood, he does great. He loves other cats and will need a cat friend in his new home. He will also need a place to go outside in nice weather to play or just hang out with his family.

Have you ever met the Beauty Queen of the North? Pretty girl is here and her title fits
her to perfection! With her soft gray and white coat, she is quick to warm up to you. Give
her a minute or two so she can check you out and when she decides the coast is clear
she is ready for pets and to purrs.

Despite her petite size she has a big heart and the kindest eyes. She’ll arch her back in
contentment as you stroke her head to tail, walk a few steps away and then come back
for more. She is so kind, loving and no trouble at all. She also loves sleeping on the bed
at night!

Pretty girl has a favorite time of day too. Lunchtime! This is when her foster Dad opens
the cabinet and out comes the lick able treats! Nothing could be better! She’s not picky
on flavors, just content to have a scrumptious lunch!

She hasn’t been around kids but would probably be fine with older calmer children in a
settled home. She loves other cats and if not adopted with her daughter Rosetta she
must have another kitty companion in her new home. Pretty girl hasn’t been around
dogs before, but a mellow older dog who would leave her alone would probably be just
fine. Pretty girl is about 3 years old. She loves being outside and will need to have a
safe yard to explore and catch bugs on nice days during the summer.

In rescue we often get the call for the homeless, the left behind and the hungry. In Ida’s case we were informed she needed a new home because she had needs not being met. Her story was one of isolation and not much human contact. She had been kept in a single room her whole life without much interaction with any others.

Since taking her in to foster in November Ida has had to adapt to many changes; traveling a great distance to her foster’s house, a new space of a double decker enclosure to adjust to a new human, seeing cats for the first time since kittenhood, adjusting to life in a new home with lots of cats, kittens and new to her dogs. It’s been a slow and sometimes inchworm like movement to introduce Ida to the entire foster home and animals but she’s finally completed her adjustment and is Queen Bee.

Ida is a beautiful Siamese girl with blue eyes. She has a lot of trust issues with humans and is very particular about touch (timing, where, pressure and approach). She will bond with a loving human, as she has with her foster mom but it will take time. She is warming to her foster dad. The older kids are ok but she isn’t keen on a lot of human activity as she was in a room with almost nothing going on for years. She likes boy cats and enjoys the kittens playfulness but can try to assert her Queen Bee status on females of all ages. The 3 big dogs in the house are kind and give her space so she is happy with that. She does enjoy the company of the senior, deaf dog and has been found laying next to the old pup, both happily napping.

Ida will need a special human to help her continue her introduction into a new life. A nice boy cat or gentle dog could be a happy companion for her. A safe place in a yard where she walk in the grass for the first time in her life could be great and help her find that joy of personal space and of nature. Rylie.  A fluffy void kitten girl, she is about 4-5 months old. Rylie is everything you could want in a family cat. She is independent when you’re busy but she also loves to lay on your lap, stare at you lovingly and purr.

She gets along with everyone in the house who is nice to her, fine with the nice dogs and great with all the kitties. She would need a cat friend in her new home, a nice, fun companion to be a best friend. And when she is bonded with her family and settled into her new home, she would love to go outside with her family to enjoy the beautiful spring. Perfect timing to be adopted now!

When you’re this cute, what is there to say?

Hemingway is too busy playing and cuddling to explain and playing and purring around the house to explain. He loves other kitties and he loves to play, and cuddling is the best thing ever!

Meow is a gentle and loving soul. A day filled with snuggles and napping is her favorite kind of day.

She is a curious girl and likes to investigate any activity around the house. She loves spending time perched in a sunny window to keep an eye on the goings on outside (or nosiness about the neighbors). And sleeping at the foot of your bed is what she calls lush living.

Meow i’s fine with dogs if they are respectful of her space but she does not do well with other cats. She would be fine with kids. She will need a safe yard where she can check out her views from the window, smell the flowers,  and maybe climb explore a bush.

This is Buttons. She is one of those unusual females that is orange, and even more unusual because she has short legs. We can’t say she is a Munchkin but she is definitely shorter than average in that part of her anatomy. It’s the cutest thing!

She makes up for her shorter height by seeking out the high shelves and kitty perches. She loves to sit up high and observe her world. She loves head pats and booty scritches. She adores her people.

Buttons does great with other nice cats and gentle dogs. And going outside to check out her territory from some perch is a favorite pastime. She is about 6 years old and ready for a beloved new family.

Blue eyed lynx point Siamese boy; it’s Edgar!

Edgar is such a big love. He’s an easy, contented boy who loves everything and everyone, all the other cats, dogs, kids; all the people he meets.

He’s about 3 years old so he still get an occasional spurt of kitten energy. But he’s not crazy. He’s more gentle fun that welcomes everyone to join.

Edgar will need a loving family that has a place for him to wander outside at times and enjoy the wonderful summer days and evenings.

Melody. She’s adorable. She’s about 6 months old and quite a little lover.

She loves to be pet and loves to be with her people. She’s not a fan of being held; she likes her freedom to race off at any moment. In case she needs to chase something. She loves to chase things, including things on the TV.  Or toys that need catching; she is good at that. She is also good at tracking down any food items that need rescuing, possibly some off of the counter that she apparently believes don’t belong there.

She does great with other nice cats and dogs and will need a kitty companion in her new family. But a nice fun girl kitty or a gentle boy would be better than some rowdy boy that wants to roughhouse. She likes to play but not wrestling. With her kitten energy, she will need a place where she and her family can go outside and play on nice days and warm evenings.

Ziggy, the handsome, fluffy boy who’s ready to find his forever home!

He is a big guy, weighing in at almost 13 pounds and rounded out with fluff!. He’s all about love—he’ll rub your face and nuzzle your neck when he’s craving attention.  This sweet boy has had a tough past. He spent months wandering the neighborhood on his own, neglected, matted, and skinny, until a kind neighbor took notice and gave him food, shelter, and care. Ziggy is finally getting the love he deserves, but he’s still searching for a home where he can thrive.

While out on his own, Ziggy managed to sprain or strain his back. He was in pain and would not want to walk around at times. Rest and pain meds helped him recover so that now  he is doing fine,  racing around and playing like a normal cat. doing fine. But there is a possibility that he could tweak his back again in the future and may need another rest period and pain medication. He’s a young energetic fellow and he has lots of fun ahead.

Ziggy is likely best suited for a home where he can go safely outside and come back to his
people for cuddles and love. He’s nervous around dogs but is getting used to the mellow dog in
his foster home who doesn’t invade his space. He gets along great with other cats in his foster
home. He plays chase and games with some of the kitties and has a great time. Another nice
cat might be a good buddy for him with a slow introduction and a welcoming meow. But he seems to also be fine as an only cat, to get your love and be the protector of the home by keeping all pesky rodents away.

Cruz is a sweetheart who would love to have a forever family all his own. He’s fine if it includes other critters as long as they are nice like he is. He’s an easy to love, easy to live with, kind of guy. He’s only a couple years old and looking forward to spending a long long time with a great family.

He does love to go outside when the weather is nice, maybe peek his nose out to do a weather check in the winter. But b-r-r-r, he’s fine staying in when it’s chilly. Cuddles with his humans by the fire, playing with his cat friends, exploring some nook or cranny of the house are all fine occupations till spring comes.

Klora is very very loving and an absolute sweetheart. She loves everyone she meets.  She has lived with lots of dogs and other cats and done fine. She also lived with kids and didn’t mind them at all. Everyone she meets is a friend.

Klora is about 4 years old and would love a family that has lots of cuddles and attention to give her. She will need a safe outside place to explore when it’s nice weather and her family is out laying in the hammock or working in the garden. She is happy to be lookout and guardian.

Gabriella is a gorgeous fluffy Siamese mix girl with those shocking blue eye. She is as soft as a cloud.

She is a cat tree girl. She can be found lounging in her cat tree most of the day. She loves to be loved on and rolls and purrs, but doesn’t roam out much for daytime activities. She loves other kitties who will snuggle up with her and a nice cat friend will be important for her in her new home. She seems to not mind the nice dogs in the house so a well-mannered dog might be just fine. She will need a safe place to go outside in summer with her friends and family; she will surely be an excellent real tree lounger.

Ridge is a 6-7 month old kitty with a beautiful ebony coat. He is a lover of all cats and dogs. He very much wants an older sibling to be buddies with. He rubs all over the older boy cats in his foster home. He would be okay with a nice dog in his new home too but a cat friend is necessary.

He does enjoy pets but is still a bit shy. He likes to talk to you when he is hungry. He would love a fun yard to play in with his buddies when the weather is nice.

Two little furry tykes about 8 months old. They are so cute! And put this adorable pair together and the fun just keeps rolling on.

They are not always revved up, but it’s hilarious to watch and be a part of. They do sleep too, sometimes. They are the cutest little things, not brothers but best friends forever. Where Jake sleeps, so does Reggie. They are so bonded that they almost always have a butt or paw touching each other when they sleep.

Jake is the very handsome tabby and white boy. And Reggie is a lynx point Siamese boy with blue eyes. Both of them are friendly if you give them a minute like normal family cats. They are okay with other nice cats and they have lived with dogs just fine, but dogs in their faces would not be ideal. They are in foster with nice older kids and they are doing great!!

Perry is a sweet 3 year old girl, all packed and ready for her forever family. She is gorgeous in her ginger coat that is always well kept. She is a petite 5 pounds, curious, playful and very attuned to humans. She will curl up with you at night and follow you around during the day. Perry is not shy and was on her foster mom’s lap in about 4 hours after arriving in her new home.

Perry wants all the love but she is easily overstimulated and will give little nips at times. She is not aggressive at all but she will need some time with gentle pets and love in order to adjust to being given more attention than she had in the past. This is a common reaction for cats who have not had much touch stimulation for a while and it takes a minute for them to become desensitized.

Perry would love to be an only cat; she does not do well with others. We don’t know about dogs.

Perry will need a safe place to explore outside when weather permits. She would be perfect for a relatively quiet household as the only pet. A mature kid who knows how to interact calmly would be great. Whoever adopts this little girl will fall in love with her immediately.

Lovely full-figured seal-point Siamese girl, Lucy is hoping for a forever family and lots of soft cuddles.

Lucy is 13 years old; she and her housemate are being rehomed because of allergies. She is the sweetest girl. She loves to be loved. She is so hoping that she’ll find that special person who will take her into their heart and never give her away again. She does fine with other nice cats but she is not a fan of dogs.

She does like to step outside in nice weather and enjoy the lovely days. But she has no interest in wandering off. A nice yard where she can roam around and explore the bushes would be great. And along with a reduction in calories would be helpful for her weight-reducing goal.

Bella fits her name. She is lovely. Quiet, gentle. Just her presence allows for a restful, quiet place to be peaceful. She is all about getting along, but don’t mistake her for a couch potato. She LOVES to play.

He’s a shy boy but he is always there to greet you in the morning. He loves head pets and helping with getting everything ready, including breakfast. He is an excellent reminder that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Although all meals are exciting!

He’s great with other cats and will need a cat buddy. And if it could be a calm big brother kind of buddy that would be great because he is a shy boy who learns  from his friends about people; who is safe and who is not. A playmate cat would be great. Introducing Dapple & Honey Bear (Dapple Dapple Dooooo and Wooly Booger). These two 6 month old monkeys just love hanging out in their cat trees. Naps on the bed or couch are a daily. They are great with cats of all ages, nice dogs and kids.

They are both tortoiseshell girls; Dapple is short hair and Honey Bear is a fluffball. They are very vocal and absolutely LOVE to be a help in the kitchen. Soft food is Dapple’s favorite food, she will eat kibble but prefers the gravy. Honey Bear just likes food…especially cooked eggs. Both have adjusted to house living after being trapped outside with their momma, who was pregnant with her next litter.

 Jason is an outgoing and overly affectionate boyfriend cat with abandonment issues. He is literally the best thing ever.

     He was found with a group of cats by a dumpster in Anchorage. After all these cats were trapped, it became apparent that Jason was not like the others.

      Jason needs to be with people. He has a lot to say about everything, constantly telling you where he is and checking to see where you are. With this cat, you will never have to pee, shower or walk anywhere in your house by yourself ever again. No lap is safe from this giant purring flood. He is also a licenced, professional cuddler.

He will do best with a cat friend, could probably cohabitate with a dog, and would love a bit of outdoor space. The more time with people he could get, the better.

Meet Typhoon! This beautiful fluffy boy is the best snuggly sidekick. He has just recently figured out that he can request pets on demand and absolutely loves being held, cuddled, and picked up. He gets talkative when he wants to notify you that he’d like some attention! \

Typhoon is a very easy going cat – he would love to hang with you on the couch and make air biscuits in your lap but is content to hang out in his cat tree independently too. He can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does you have his trust! Typhoon is a cautious explorer but is becoming a more confident cat week by week. He likes to perch in his cat tree where he watch the action of the house from a distance even if he isn’t in the midst of it.  He is okay with the calmer dog that gives him space in his foster home but has been warier and more likely to run away with the bigger/eager dog. He is getting braver about being near dogs as long as there is a human available to sit next to.

He is utterly unimpressed with laser pointers but loves to wrestle with catnip toys or chase a feather wand. When we got him, he was living around lots of other cats and was fine in foster with other kitties, so likely he will do fine with other nice cats who will welcome him. We are not sure how he does around children. He will need a safe place to go outside and explore his own yard when he’s bonded with his family and spring comes. Bats McGee is a darling little guy about 3 1/2 months old. He’s the last of his litter to be adopted; not surprising because the black kitties often get overlooked. But there is no reason to ignore this little sweetheart. He will be the best fun and snuggle bug kitten ever.

Captain is a beautiful seal point Siamese kitten with dazzling blue eyes. She is about 5 or 6 months old.

Captain is a shy girl. She is not overly friendly with people; she needs a family who will let her be the free spirit that she is and give her the time it takes to trust them and make that magical bond. He’s orange. Other than that, he doesn’t resemble a pumpkin at all. He’s long and lean and has ears. Very cute ears. And he’s much too active and playful and goofy to represent a vegetable.

About 5 months old, Pumpkin is so adorable. He’s very busy playing with his friends or even by himself most of the time but he does take moments out to nestle up against you and purr. And if you hold him tummy up on your lap, he will occupy himself playing with your hair. He is determined never to be bored. In the cutest way possible!

It’s hard to meet Pumpkin and not fall in love with him. Which is the way most of his kitty friends feel too. And he will need a cat buddy in his new home, one who would like to play with this little orange scamp. He does fine with gentle dogs too. And since he lived outside as a kitten and has a taste of that glorious natural world, he will need a place where he can go out in summer and race around like the crazy fun kitty that he is.
