FRITZ AND JAXI–Pending

Brother and sister, Fritz and Jaxi are the sweetest 3 year old kitties. They’ve been together since birth and are bonded. They would be the very best pair of lovable cats you could hope for. You would never have to worry about whether your beloved cat is lonely or bored with these two. They can occupy themselves all day napping and playing together. And when you come  home, they will greet you with happy purrs.

Fritz is the scout. He is out and about checking out the world while Jaxi hangs back and does surveillance until she’s sure the coast is clear. Fritz investigates all the possible nooks and crannies and any toy that is laying around that needs attention. He could possibly be helpful with dusting under the furniture. He is ready to play at any time. He hopes his new people will like playing. If not, he’ll make do by entertaining them with his agile moves and crazy slides. He is so good at it, that he even gets Jaxi going at times. Jaxi does love to play. And she really loves to be loved by her people, pet and snuggled. Just a note, when there is catnip, things can get a little goofy and wild 😻😻 Fritz will curl up at your side at night and Jaxi takes her purring place at the bottom of the bed.

These cats are wonderful family members. They would do fine with another nice cat, with well-behaved dogs, and a gentle child would be great to. Fritz would love to show his kid friend all the fun play moves he has learned. And Jaxi would be a good nap partner and help with chores.

If you would like a well-behaved, happy pair of cats to join your family, Fritz and Jaxi would be purrfect! They do love to go outside in the yard in good weather and will need a safe area to play. In Anchorage. Call or text 907 960-0096

DESI

Desi, aka Kitty is a gorgeous dappled tortoiseshell girl, as lovely as an autumn forest. She’s a sturdy girl with green eyes and soft to cuddle. She is about 5 years old.

Desi has a very loud purr and uses it when she’s giving affection. She loves to be pet and snuggled until she’s done. Which could happen at the drop of a hat, And then she’s done. And that’s why she is being rehomed. As her family of humans grows, and little ones are added, Desi has shown that she is not so patient with toddlers who might not know how to give her pets just as she likes them and how to stop when she wants it to stop. She has lived with a big dog, kids and other cats since she was a kitten. She’s gets alone with everyone as long as she is allowed her space. But she would do best in a home that is less chaotic and doesn’t have littles.

She is definitely an indoor and outdoor cat, and loves to go outside. She is still very playful and likes toys. She would totally love to be in a less competitive household where she gets to be the kitty who is still adored some of the time. She loves her person, and her people, and if she could be special to them, snuggle up with them and be loved, that would be the best.

Desi is in Wasilla, waiting for her new family to  love her. Call or text 907 960-0096

HARVEY

Harvey survived outside alone in the cold for at least a year, with the occasional help of a kind human. Harvey was afraid and kept his distance until he realized he liked having regular food and water and would like to cuddle up where it’s warm. Much like the meaning of his name, Harvey has endured on his own and has shown such great resilience since coming into foster care.

He is under 2 years old, a handsome polydactal lover boy, who is excited when humans or kind cats walk in the room.  While he does have a few battle scars from his survival time on his own, Harvey has proven himself to be a quiet and gentle soul. He would love a safe home with humans who will pet and love him and where he has cat friends.  He loves to be with others and is not a good alone cat.  It’s not known how Harvey is around dogs, but with a slow intro I’m sure this easy-going guy won’t take long to snuggle up with them, also.  He’ll need time outdoors this spring and summer with his family. He does like to go outside but he never wants to find himself alone again.  If you’re looking for a quiet, easygoing and affectionate boy then Harvey is your guy!

STONEWALL CHARLES JACKSON

Big hunkum 2 year old boy with a unique coat and harlequin face. Stonewall is his name and he’s not much of a rebel. He loves his people and hopes that someday he will have a family who loves his back.

Stonewall was raised with cats and dogs and was fine. And then he ended up in a home where the old cat chased him and tried to beat up on him and that was not good. So he’s recovering in a foster home and trying to adjust to the idea that other cats aren’t always mean.

Stonewall is truly a lover with his people and we think he will come around to feeling more relaxed with other cats when he’s had time to recover from being the picked on kid. His new home needs to be one with mellow, kind cats or dogs if there are other critters in the house. And he very much needs lots of love and reassurance from his people.

He’s ready for a great family who will welcome him and love him as much as he needs love. In Nikiski. Call or text 907 980-8898

MIA

Mia

Mia is an 11 year young Calico sweetie. She has shades of tortoiseshell colors in her coat. With the white highlights, green eyes,  and that white dash down her nose, she has a unique  beauty.
She loves sit on your lap and kneed like she’s making biscuits. She doesn’t mind other nice mellow kitties. We don’t know about doggies or kiddos but we think she’d be best in a settled quiet home. She’s shy, but quite playful once she feels safe. She’s got a bit of a cali-tude – she’ll let you know if you move too fast going in for a pet. Her foster says she is ‘such a sweet cat overall.”
She enjoys being in the yard on warm summer days so outside access is a requirement for this cutie.

WILEY

CUTENESS!

When you got it, you got it! There’s no denying that Wiley has it!

Look at that plume tail! Imagine that fluttering around your home on the end of the sweetest little gingery guy. What could be better? HUGS! He has lots of those to share too. And conversation. He’s happy to share quiet talks with his loved one.

Wiley is a darling little guy trapped outside as a stray. We don’t where his family is but they are missing out because he’s great. Give him some cuddles and someone to play with. And when summer comes a safe yard to play in, and right there is your dream kitty of the universe.

We think he’s a young boy, maybe a year or two old. Not sure how he is with other cats or dogs since he hasn’t been exposed to any while in rescue. But no reason to think he wouldn’t do just fine with mellow companions as long as you do a proper slow introduction. He’s wonderful!

AMINA

Amina is a velvety, petite girl. We think she is about 10 months to a year old.

She starts off shy with new people but all it takes is a little patience and some help from a kitty friend, and she learns quickly how to have fun. She will rub up against you for lots of pets and scratches. She is affectionate and and will hang out on the bed with her people at times. She’s happy to have HER people!  When she hears her human she’ll come chirping to you, especially if food is involved! Her purr and biscuit making are so soothing. She still have the lively fun of kittenhood and loves to play.  She even has a lucky thumb on her left paw, it’s extra large and is always giving you the thumbs up. She loves other cats so she will need to have a nice cat friend to play with and show her the ropes in her new home. She does fine with the toddler and the dog in the foster home so nice kids and mellow dogs would be okay.

SURLY

My name is Surly. I am about 6 months old.

I was trapped as a spicy wild kitten and have taken some time to learn to trust people. I will need a patient family to continue to work with me. I love my wet food (and people food)and can be bribed easily. Most of the time I enjoy pets but sometimes I remember my wild side and don’t want them. I will sometimes bless you with warming your lap but mostly I just want to be next to you. I still have a lot of growing to do and will continue to make progress. I must have another kitty friend as I love to play and can sometimes play rough. I don’t mind nice doggies.

BANDIT

Bandit is huge and super sweet. He is fine with other cats and never confrontational even though he is a BIG boy. Not fat but really BIG! A great silky hunkum of a boy. He is 7 years old.

Bandit will hide out and lounge whenever there’s not a need to be out and about. But he does have his weaknesses. Butt scratches are his kryptonite and he will immediately start purring when the scratches start. He cannot resist.  Once he gets a little more comfortable he likes and belly rubs too. Given time to settle in and learn to trust a new place with new people, he will even jump up on the bed and cuddle. He’s very personable once he gets comfortable.

He will definitely need a safe place to go outside and enjoy being a hunter and lover of nature when he’s adapted to his new and when the weather is better.

SPARROW

About 6 months old, Sparrow is an adorable fluffball of the first degree. He has that super fluffy look of the Maine Coon.

Precious Sparrow is a lovely gentle little man. He found himself lost and all alone and managed to find a garage to take refuge in. Once rescued, he proved what a sweetie he is.  He loves to cuddle! He is friendly, but a little jumpy if approached too quickly. He’ll need regular grooming and has some bald patches from the various mats he arrived with, but he loves to be brushed and might even try to groom you back. He’ll need a kitty companion to keep him company and he will be fine living with a mellow dog. He like to cuddle and be groomed by his foster buddy. He tends to be a quiet kitty as he plays gently during the night. Sparrow has a soft kitten mew and is happy to purr for you. He also okay with being picked up and held.

GUS

Meet Gus, aka “Toothless” due to having to get half of his teeth removed. The poor guy just couldn’t catch a break. After going to the vet to get fixed, the vet discovered Gus’s terrible teeth abscess and swollen face. Gus had to go back for round two of surgery. This did not stop Gus from being one of the most loving and trusting cats his foster has ever seen. When Gus arrived at his foster, he was covered in scabs, and scars. The life as a stray cat is not easy. After having a few days to decompress and heal, Gus was ready for affection. He was timid, but ready to learn how to live in a home. He was quick to learn and discovered that the best place to be is in the lap of a human. Gus would love to be in a home with a person who enjoys a lap cat and gives lots of pets. Gus is giant, but he is very gentle. He occasionally will growl out the window at birds. We believe that he is an older cat. He does fine around other cats, gentle children, and calm dogs. He will need a safe place to go outside in nice weather if he chooses. He’s a most wonderful boy and will be purrfect for a loving family.

LEWIS

Sleek young adorable boy, Lewis is SO happy to be inside out of the cold. And especially happy with love and cuddles and food and pets. He was on his own for a while in the Butte area. We don’t know how that happened but when rescue was offered, he was all about saying yes!

Lewis is a love. He LOVES hanging out with the humans. He’s extremely helpful. Happy to keep you company as you read, watch a movie, sweep the floor or do most anything that involves a possible kind word or pet. He is also intent on how this whole magical food system works, whereas he hangs out and looks cute and food appears.

He’s a very friendly boy with people. He is not so good with other cats and may be best as the only. The dog in the house he tends to ignore. He’ll be a great family member for humans and has the kind of personality that would fit in well with a nice older kid. Having a special friend to help with homework or chores would be great.

PAWPAW

Pawpaw is a charming guy. With his blue blue eyes, he is a classic seal-point Siamese. He’s muscular and fit. We think he is about 7 years old.

Pawpaw showed up at a house in the valley years ago and just never left. He was already neutered at the time so he was someone’s cat but the owner was never found. He is nice boy who does fine with the other cats in the house and is very good with nice dogs. He is friendly and congenial with humans and other cats and dogs. He would love to be a ‘special’ cat for some happy family, a place where he’s not just the stray who wandered in, but the beloved boy who was truly wanted as part of the family.

Pawpaw is a great hunter. He does love to be outside any time it is not super cold and will need a safe yard/rural outside area to enjoy when the weather is nice. A responsible loving family to be his very own for the rest of his life is also required. In Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

AURORA

Aurora is petite little princess and is such an easy keeper. She is quiet and polite and content to just hang out with her people. Not to mention how beautiful she is! A few minutes each day to brush her coat will keep her looking fabulous. She isn’t shy and enjoys head scratches and being held. She sleeps politely at your feet at night.

At 7 years old, she still plays with her mouse toys, but she isn’t a rambunctious kitten that is going to shred your shower curtain or get into other such mischief. Aurora is in a foster home without other cats or dogs, so we don’t know how she will react to other pets, but with a slow and cautious introduction we think she would be fine. Some people think calico cats are lucky, and we certainly agree. The family that adopts her will be lucky indeed!

TWIX

He’s the sweetest little boy. Doesn’t matter that he was born outside and lived part of his kittenhood in the ‘wild’, he settled into a home right away. His mom was friendly with people, remembering better times when she too had a home, and she told him that being rescued was a good thing. He is a little shy with strangers and he may be too reserved for small children. But with adults and older kids, he would be a great family member.

Twix is a gorgeous little teenage boy about 9 months old. He’s all soft and pretty and ready to be some happy family’s best boy. He was raised with a brother and sister and he loves other kitties. Playtime is oodles of fun and he will definitely need a feline buddy in his new home.

He’s a fan of pets and cuddles too. He loves to get loving attention from his people and is sure to be the light of someone’s life. And he hopes to have a perfect person to be his beloved one. He was born outside and when summer comes, he will need a chance to enjoy good weather fun in the yard with his family. To race across the warm grass and hunt bug in the bushes. Sophie loves the dog too but would do best with a kitty friend who will be her best buddy. She is an excellent cuddler and not only likes to sit on the mellow dog in the foster home, but on people laps to get lots of snuggle time. She’s an easy girl. She knows when she’s got it good. She is okay with the other cats and the mellow dogs and the gentle kids. Later, when it’s warm outside and she is sure there will always be food, then she might do a little hunting or investigating or tree climbing. AWBI AND KEEVA

Hi! I am Awbi, or Sailor, depending on which size human in our foster family is talking. And this is my little brother Keeva, or Norman.

We are kinda little kitties, not baby babies and not quite teens, maybe 4 or 5 months old. A great age because we can do almost anything. And we are CUTEEEEE! Everybody in our foster family agrees about that. Super cute. The cutest! Cute as a button! Just ask them. It’s almost a third name, we get called that so much. Another great thing is we are black! Our foster family says that we are so beautiful 😊

We were born outside and it was okay for a while but then it got cold and a nice lady picked us up and took us to this warm place called a foster home. It’s great here. We can play with our jingle balls like crazy…..all over the house, for hours. Until we get tuckered out and then we snuggle up wherever we want, sometimes on a human’s lap and go sleepytime all safe and cozy. Purrrrr. And whenever we are hungry, I sing out the sweetest little meow that no one can resist and the family gives us yummy food, all we can eat.

It’s great here but we know that we’re supposed to be getting a ‘forever family’ that will be the most wonderful thing ever, better than jingle balls, like for the rest of our lives! And we’re really excited about that.

One thing–we are still cautious about the unknown, and about craziness in the house. Loud noises and sudden movements, we take cover cause that is what our mom taught us. I go right up to the family and ask for pets. But my little brother who is smaller and fluffier, Keeva Norman , is a little more cautious than I am.  When people are nice and gentle he will be in their lap and soaking up the snuggles. But any crazy business and he is out of here……..well, me too. We will need a little time to get familiar with new places and people, even our new forever family people. But I’m sure that our real forever family will be fine with that and love us no matter what. Cause that’s what real families do. Or that’s what I’m told cause I’ve never really had one of those yet. So excited to get one!

Now here’s the thing. We could go to separate forever families who would love us, but right now I think Keeva Norman would be happier to have me around, to watch over him like a big brother does. And I want to do what’s best for him; he is already my family. So for now, we really would like to be adopted together, to have the same forever family and show them how cute we are, how fun we are playing, and how adorable it is when we snuggle up in a little knot together and purr and nap. We hope that will be enough to be loved forever.

If you’d like to find out more about us, and meet us in Wasilla, please call this lady who says she is going to help us get a great forever family. Call soon! 907 980-8898

BLITZ

The boy with the most interesting coat– a marbled tabby coat with the swirls waves; that’s Blitz. AND also the guy with the nicest personality. He’s beautiful in body and spirit.

Blitz is a darling boy who came from a large group of house cats who were put outside when the owners moved away. He was so hungry and cold, he came right up to the neighbor when food was offered. Blitz still trusts people and is ready to pour all his love and trust into a family who will really, this time, give him a loving home and family. He clearly can do well with other nice cats. We don’t know about dogs. He is personable and easy once he knows he’s in a good place. He does enjoy going outside, when he knows he can go back inside at any time, to revel in the all the happiness of nature. A safe outside area will be required.

BELLA

Beautiful Bella with the lush raven coat. She is a sweetheart. Bella loves to sit on laps and will purr and rub up against you and let you know her happiness in the loveliest ways. She is very affectionate.

She’s a gentle girl with great house manners. She is adventurous at times, checking out all possibles in the house. In case you’ve mislocated something, she may be able to help. She will want to explore the yard when the weather is nicer, but she has no desire at all to wander. After being lost on her own in the middle of winter, she is perfectly happy to stick near home. Hang out with her people. She seems to be tolerant of other cats and may do well with a friendly cat companion. We don’t know about dogs.

At first, after being trapped outside, Bella seemed withdrawn and depressed. But since her dental and repair of a hernia, she is so joyful and loving. We think she is about 8 years old. And we think it’s time she had a good secure, dependable family to be her own forever. In Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

Bright, intelligent, full of spice, Oliver is a great little guy. He is maybe 7 months old and kitty perfection.

Oliver is an adventure seeker and explorer. But he so loves being picked up that he will instantly start purring and snuggle up close for pets and cuddles. He is very playful and will play with almost anything. He can make a whole house-wide game of a simple ball, chasing it all over the house with such delight that he can’t help but make you smile. He is a very smart little guy and might get around to learning to fetch……….if he wants to.

Oliver will need a cat friend who loves to play as much as he does, and people who love that too. An older fun kid could be his best friend! He’s so ready for a loving home. In Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

DILLY AND KIPPER

Not siblings, obviously, but Dilly and Kipper are family. They are part of a 40+ cat group in the valley who were abandoned when the people moved out of their rental house. The cats were put outside, the door was closed and that was that.

Dilly is about 4 1/2 months old. A fluffy little black and white guy who is so loving and so adorable. And playful…..that too!

Kipper is a bit older, maybe 9 months. He is older cousin or brother; we don’t know. But he is definitely Dilly’s best buddy and protector. They look out for each other. When they were abandoned without food, water, shelter, they were able to survive because they had each other. And because Kipper could help his little buddy stay warm and know where and how to beg for food.

So here they are, in a foster home. At first they were shy and we thought maybe they would take a long time to adjust. And then the foster went to town one day and when she got home, Dilly and Kipper were laying in the kids’ laps and purring and cuddling and playing!

These sweet boys could be adopted separately and they would probably do fine. But before we do that, we would love to try to find them a home together. Keep that bond and love and security that they have with each other live on. It’s a source of happiness and that is what we want for them.

And we want them to have a dependable settled family who will never ever leave them behind or without all the comforts of a good home. A warm  house to be in whenever they want. And a safe yard or outside area where they can play and hunt and climb bushes and be the joyous kitties that they are.

If you are looking for an amazing pair of sweetheart cats, these little guys would be purrfect! In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

PENNY

When you’re beautiful, there’s no denying it. And Penny is beautiful. Beautiful blue eyes, beautiful way about her.  The sweetest little girl with lots of extra toes. She has a lovely little trill when she purrs. Probably a couple years old, she is a happy loving girl who was rescued from outside and has been great in foster. She seems to do fine with other cats; she had lived in a home with lots of others. With her easy personality, she may do fine with mellow dogs. She has proven that she loves nice kids. If one of the kids in the house is crying, she checks it out right away to make sure everything is okay.

Penny needs a forever loving home where she can go outsie, if she wants to, when the weather is nice. But never again dumped outside in the cold.

EZEKIAL

Ezekial is a gorgeous white and black boy with a unique harleguin face. He’s a young boy in his prime, maybe a couple years old.

Zeke is amiable and easy going. He’s fine to hang out with the family, or do his own thing. He is not demanding or annoying. He does great when people come over and even enjoyed the 5 year old granddaughter’s visit. Now, he is mesmerized by the snowfall and loves to watch the flakes come down and the  world go white from inside the warm house. When spring comes, he will need a place to go outside and enjoy the wonderful summer.

He’s friendly and comfortable, ready for kind pets and snuggles from his loved ones. He seems to do okay with another cat but he has shown no interest in being buddies. He prefers to do his own thing and not be bothered. He would love to be the only cat. We think he would be fine with mellow dogs. In a happy home, he is a quiet loving mellow boy who knows how to behave in a home and how to enjoy life without causing chaos.

If you’re looking for an easy, loving, funny-faced boy to join your easy loving family, Zeke would be great. In Wasilla. Call or text 907 980-8898

CHESHIRE

Beautiful Cheshire looks like  a little princess. She is a good princess, so sweet and respectful and kind. We think she is a year or two old.

Cheshire is such a lovely little creature with such a sweet nature that she will fit into any very loving, peaceful home. She would do great with another gentle feline and would probably prefer to have a nice companion. She is kind and easy and would do well with children who are the same. We don’t know about dogs. She was found outside with a younger cat who may be her kitten. She was clearly someone’s family cat in the past because of her easy behavior in a home with people.

FOXY Ozzy–Pending

Foxy is an affectionate and beautiful ginger boy who has the softest fur and the sweetest little face. He is about 3 years old. He is hoping that at last his real family will take him home and give him all the loves he dreams of.

Foxy is an adorable guy who likes to talk with his people. He talks, you talk; he is a good listener too. He LOVES to play! He loves to lay in boxes, kick around circular toys, play with feathers, lay on soft blankets, and sit on his cat tree. Snuggling is a close second to playing. Pets and hugs and kisses……..all good! But he also likes to nap and gaze out the windows at ‘cat TV’. He enjoys checking out the world from the safety of his home. He might like to step out on the porch with his people when the weather is nice, or possibly even walk around a fenced yard where alien invaders (who he sees out the window sometimes) cannot enter. But after a scary start as a kitten lost and alone in a trailer park, he is done with roaming. Give him a happy family who will play with him and cuddle with him and he’s a contented boy. He would do great with kind adults, and an older child who needs a feline ‘brother’ would be great. They could hang out together, play, talk about their day. He does not do well with other cats or dogs nor does he enjoy chaos. A settled home with a peaceful family is what he’s all about.

Foxy has waited long enough. It’s time for him to have that forever family and home he’s been dreaming of. He’s in Anchorage. Text 907-960-0096

SALEM–Pending

Sweet Salem is so handsome. Sleek, shiny, he’s a drop dead gorgeous boy. After living outside on his own for a while, he is slowly learning how to relax and enjoy the good life. He started out a little anxious about being stuck inside, but is becoming happier to enjoy a lap of snuggles and fuzzy blankies. He likes to snuggle just the right amount and isn’t too clingy. But when he’s hungry he will fill the whole house with his big voice 🙂

Soon he will perfect the art of living his best indoor cat life, but will definitely need his outside time when the weather is nice. He would love a home where friendly hands can give him lots of pets and laps to nap in. He seems to do well so far with other cats, but is still unsure of dogs. So far so good with little ones, but he would probably appreciate older and mellow kiddos.

FINNEGAN

FINNEGAN!

He’s the cutest little dancing boy with a trilling call. When he’s excited, whether it be greeting his humans when they come home, getting treats, or getting to go outside, Finnegan will let you know he’s excited by the little jig he does with his front paws. It’s the cutest thing ever!

He’s doing great in his foster home. He’s buddies with the other kitties and he is happy having humans who love and care for him. After who knows how long he was a little boy all alone and scared outside,  he’s getting the hang of the order of things in the household. He has learned that standing on his back legs and trilling when food is coming is a perfectly good way to show he’s grateful. He loves having regular food, a warm bed, and loving hands give him gentle pets. He’s still not ready for craziness, but a nice normal settled homelife; that is great!

He is loyal and will stay close to human’s side, keeping them company while they watch TV, work on the computer, or even when doing chores. All he asks in return is unconditional love, and never having to worry about being abandoned again. Some treats and some playtime outside so he can hop through the tall grass definitely helps too!

THOR

Hard to figure out what to say about this little guy. There’s so much already. At 5 months old he walks into the house and takes command…….in the cutest way possible. He’s a kitten so there’s that. Kitten cuteness, kitten energy. But there’s something more.

Gravitas? Can a kitten have gravitas?

Whatever it is, it will charm your socks off. After being rescued from abandonment outside, Thor walks into the house and instantly loves everyone, and lets them know it. If you need to take a minute to notice how adorable he is, he’ll come up with something to capture your attention. Some goofy trick in the air antic. Or some moment of sweetness. Race across the room at lightning speed, or sit demurely in front of you and do that totally silent meow. Little mouth moving but not a sound with the angelic look on his face. ‘s aitlmost magical how much joy he can bring to the heart.
But even little magic kitties need families. And Thos is ready for his. A home with other kitties and with people who will be his true family and a yard where he can play outside if the weather ever gets nice again. And fun and love and all the wonders of a fantastic kitty life.

RALPHIE

Ralphie is an 11 year old tabby boy. He has handsome big boy tiger face.

Ralphie is a strong independent guy. Not a baby cuddle kitty who wants to sit in your lap. But a nice competent boy who wants to be treated like a grown up, an equal who is part of the family that does his job of hunting and takes care of any invading rodents. He does like to be pet and he’ll let you know by purry nudges on your hand or leg.

Ralphie is full of character! He can be vocal when he’s ready for food or water. Or if he has something to tell you about his last hunting adventure. He loves to drink out of the faucet so he hopes his new people will allow him that activity at times. A water fountain would be great. He gets along with nice dogs but isn’t a fan of other cats.

Ralphie has a beautiful coat that can use some help with grooming at times so he’d love a family who would give him a brush occasionally.

Ralphie does love to go outside and must have a safe rural type home where he can be the master, along with his dog buddies, of his domain. No more worry about mice and voles with Ralphie around! He’s in Anc. Text 907.960.0096.

CAPTIN CRUNCH

Life might have started out alright for Captin Crunch. Somewhere, sometime in the past, this gorgeous orange guy had a family. Then for some reason, things changed. But even after spending months abandoned on the streets, and then being fed as a stray, he is still  a lover.

When he was rescued, Captin Crunch took to a home inside with people like he’d done it before, and like he really liked things being that way. In foster, he was a bit reticent and shy at first, but given time and patience, he showed his true personality–he is a love bug. He is a great snuggler, cuddler, receiver of kisses and pets. He can be easily startled by loud noises and will revert to hiding if things seem too startling. Certainly it will take a while for him to adapt to all the newness in a new place with new people. But he’s ready to work through it for the love of a family. A settled home without crazy, rambunctious happenings would be best for him.

Crunchie does enjoy the company of other cats, or maybe a gentle dog, who could help boost his confidence and help him realize that he’s found his place. He wants that so much, he’s ready to be your own sweet golden glow of happiness that brightens every day.

We believe he is a 1-2 years  old.Cap’n Crunch loves catnip, playing with feathered toys, drinking from the faucet, and safe adventures outside. Whoever adopts this sweet guy is going to fall in love with him!

BANDIT

Bandit is looking for a new home. WITHOUT DOGS. He’s great with other nice cats and would love to have one in his new home. A buddy, like he had in his last home where he lived since he was a kitten. But 4 years later his family got 2 puppies. Big rowdy puppies. And over the next months as the puppies became bigger,   Bandit went from being a sweet outgoing happy boy to a recluse. Hiding away from the chaos of the dogs until he was hardly a part of the family at all anymore. And that’s when his people decided that he should go to a different home.

So Bandit is looking for a new home, to start over, to have a place where he doesn’t feel afraid, where he can be relaxed and joyful and have a family again. He’s a total sweetheart. A handsome tabby boy with a white chest and white tippy toes; he even has extra toes! He would be happy little guy with nice kids and a cat friend, and people who will love him forever and promise never to get a dog.

Lulu is a very petite girl but she is full of personality. She was found outside in a field starving and desperate. She didn’t hesitate to walk right up to strangers and ask for help. That’s Lulu, very outgoing.

Lulu has a beautiful, exotic looking face and the softest gray fur with a white chest and belly and those cute little white boots. She is sweet and affectionate and loves to curl up in the blankets with her human.  She likes to be pet and held, but not so much being carried around. She would be a great companion and best fun friend of nice older child. She is tolerant of other cats and dogs but she would prefer to be the only pet. She loves people and she wants to have a home with good ones. And that is what she is waiting for. And when she finds that wonderful settled home with lots of love from her beloved people, she will give you purrs and snuggles and her whole hearted devotion for the rest of her life. Fluffy black boy a couple years old, Lovie is all about loves, cuddles, snuggles, pets, purrs, kisses. And in addition to affection, he has many other skills. Lovie can get along with most any cat who is nice to him. He lived with 5 others in a happy peaceful home and it was great…..until his mom lost her home. He is an excellent hunter and can do a pretty good job of keeping any invading rodents at bay. He likes to go outside but please don’t make him stay out. If his people are in the house, he would like to be there for all those cuddling, petting, and just plain hanging out with you moments. He’s a wonderful, amazing boy.

ALEXIS

Darling little girl about 5-6 months, but small for her age, Alexis is adorable. She has a lush gray coat with a hint of calico markings that only shows up in certain light.

Alexis is a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and be held and cuddle and be loved and cuddle and play with her kitty friends. She’s not a crazy kitten; she hasn’t had a serious case of the zoomies in her foster home……….yet. She is relaxed with the people she loves and the kitties she trusts. We don’t know about dogs.

Alexis is ready for a nice feline friend and people who have time for some proper snuggle sessions. When spring comes, she will also be bright and ready to venture out into the world of ‘yard’ with her family and play and race to her kitty heart’s content.

SADIE

Sadie is a sweetheart. All she really wants to do is be loved. Although you can sometimes see the sadness in her face from whatever awful things she had been through when she was a stray living on the streets in Anchorage, she has left that hurt behind. A warm cozy bed, loving arms, kindness and security–she is happy to be in that place.

Sadie is probably about 14 years old. She may still enjoy stepping outside on warm days to breathe in the fresh air, to walk around the porch and yard. But generally, cuddled up on the bed or couch or in someone’s lap is her perfect situation. She loves her Tiki Mousse food and sleeping in bed with her people. She loves her people. Little kids are not a good match because she can be grouchy, like some of us older people, and might nip if handled rough. She is fine with other cats and dogs living in the house but she is not interested in being their friend or playmate or cuddlebuddy. She wants to sleep with her big human, have her Tiki Mousse  and be loved. That is happiness.

If you are looking for a quiet easy companion to join you for quiet time, snuggle time, stress-free days and peaceful nights, beautiful Sadie could be the girl for you. She’s in Soldotna . Call or text 907 953-0333

LAZLO AND NADJA

Lazlo and Nadja! Adorable ebony kittens about 4 months old. Beautiful frisky lovable little kitties.

Lazlo is the lovebug of the two. He is brave, curious, and playful. He lives to get picked up and snuggled and has a loud instant purr machine. But he really loves his shy sister Nadja and is often found attempting to nurse on her!

Nadja is more low key, she’s observant and quiet. But will turn on her purr machine for a good ear rub.

Together these kitties are the purrfect pair. They love each other and are great rompers when they get going with a fun toy. You would never lack for entertainment and purrs. They will need a fairly settled home. Other kitties would be fine. And older kind children would love them. We don’t know about dogs but they are young and may adapt to gentle canines just fine. They will need a safe yard to play in with their family when spring arrives. They would love to be adopted together, but could also be adopted separately if the perfect families come along.

FORD

How much love do you need? Lots? Then Ford might be the boy for you.

Found outside in the Big Lake area, Ford was instantly a love with every person he met. He’s very social with humans and wants to share all the good things with them. His best life would be with a human, or humans, who have time for cuddles and pets and maybe even playing. And definitely a place where he can go outside in nice weather and enjoy the wonders of the natural world. If his people want to come along, that would be dandy.

Ford hasn’t done well with another boy cat in his foster home. We don’t know about other cats or dogs. He may want to be an only cat. Or he may do okay with a mellow dog or a girl cat. Since every adoption is a trial, there’s room for giving a new relationship a try.

Ford is shiny and handsome and to say he is a friendly guy would be a laughable understatement. But annoying he is not. He knows how to do cat things and enjoy entertaining himself. But love and affection and the certainty that he won’t be abandoned again, he is going to need in boatloads. So if you’re looking for a wonderful boy to share with you the joy of life and love, here he is.

Jaz has the cutest array of sounds that she makes when chatting with her people. She’s very chill and quiet otherwise, but when you address her she loves to chat back in a variety of trills and meows😻. In her previous home, Jaz was overwhelmed by dogs and other pets in the home and mostly hid. Her ideal home is quiet and has no dogs or young children. She has lived with other cats and has done fine with them, but she would prefer no rowdy young cats that want to pester her. She has better things to do, such as lounging, dining, and having riveting conversations with her people. Jaz would love a forever home for Christmas! 🎄 ❣️

Paisley was found outside and considering what a magical little dude he is, we’re sure he was lost and not abanonded. But his people could not be found. He has a little frostnip on the bottoms of his cute feet so that they were tender for a while. But he’s doing better now and doesn’t seem to let that bother him. Or anything bother him. Just hold him, cuddle him, give him tummy rubs and snuggies and kisses and he’s in kitty heaven. He walks right up to the big boys and head butts them–like hey, I’m here to be your friend. They hardly know what to make of him. Slim little sprite being so bold. It looks like Paisley knows no strangers; everyone is a potential friend.

He does fine with mellow dogs too.  Having been out on his own for a while, he is very cautious and will take some time to adjust to a new family. And probably best with a more settled and quiet family. He will need a safe place to go outside when he’s ready. But for now, a cozy home and loving family is what he wants more than anything. DUSTY

Creamy golden boy, slim and muscular. He’s been out on his own for a while but when there was a chance to charm the people of the house, he did a great job! Dusty is a charmer!

Dusty is a lover boy. Being picked up is no problem if you are his people. He is happy as a purring little clam to be inside and loved and fed. A warm bed was surely a dream when he was outside on his own. He seems to be a young guy, maybe a couple years old. He has some outdoor skills and will need a place to go outside in his new home. But he never wants to be stuck out there again.

In the foster home there are LOTS of other cats and he’s not sure what to make of that. He seems more comfortable with the girls than the big boys who are not welcoming. As a newcomer inside, he is uncertain about having lots of other felines around. Maybe a sweet girl cat for a companion would be fine. We don’t know about dogs.

She likes to talk a bit, but only if she has something to say. She has lived with other cats and done fine. And she adjusts to mellow dogs just fine. Cree is an all around great family cat.

Cree is 10 years old. She loves to go outside and would be your great huntress if there is the opportunity. In Anchorage, ready for a great family. Text 907 960-0096

MITTENS

There is a reason that calicos are a favorite of cat lovers. So many  beautiful colors and color combinations. And Mittens is a perfect example of calico beauty.

This gorgeous older gal is looking for a loving, forever home.  She responds to her name, is very talkative, and is happiest when she’s snuggled up in your lap. She loves scratches but is quick to let you know when she’s had enough. She’s good with kids but the does have a murder button hidden on her tummy. And even when she rolls over in the cutest way possible and shows you her adorable tumtum, don’t touch! She does fine with other pets, but seems like she would do well in a home with a very welcoming kitty.

Mittens spent a lot of time outside in her former home and life and loves to go out and hunt. But now that she’s reached her teens, maybe 13, she is more inclined to stay inside and cuddle with her people. A safe place for her to go is still needed for those moments when her natural spirit calls.

If you’re looking for a cat with tons of personality (and toes!), Mittens might be just what you’re looking for. In Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898

ARROW

Arrow wins the face painting contest! Halloween or any day of the year, Arrow has the most unique and adorable mask ever! Blue eyes like a cool lake and that fetching harlequin face design………she is a special girl in every way.

Arrow came to us from the Valdez shelter as a ‘feral’. We took her in believing that she was destined to be a barn cat. But that was not even close to being true.  She is shy, yes. But this little girl is a love. Maybe a year old, if that, she has purrs and snuggles and pretty little smiles for the people who are kind to her and give her sweet pets. She is a cat and so she does take a little time to be convinced that you are a good person and that you will not harm her, and that she trusts you enough to take down her guard. But then, there is so much sweetness and rubs and happy purring. Crazy chaotic happenings is still not her thing. But she is fine with other nice cats and will need one in her new home. She does fine with dogs. And people who are loving and kind and gentle.

Sweet Arrow is ready for a great family of her own. She’s in Nikiski but could get a ride for the purrfect family. Call or text 907 980-8898

SWIZ

Sweet golden boy, Swiz. He’s been through a lot. He’s shy. But he desperately wants to have a family of his own. He so much wants to be pet, and pet, and pet some more. At first he was unsure about touching but then suddenly he remembered. There must have been a time in his life when he was loved and given kind touches. And he hopes for that again. He will take a while to adjust to a new home and family but he is ready to give it a try.

Swiz does fine with other cats and could do okay with a mellow dog in the house but doesn’t really like dogs. He will need a  safe place to go outside in his new home when he’s bonded with his family and settled in.

He’s a beautiful ginger boy. We think he a young male in his prime, maybe 4-6 years old.

MAXMILLIAN

Max aka Maximilian is a BIG good-looking orange and white boy with BIG feet. He loves loves loves attention! He loves to be picked up, held petted and massaged anytime you are free to spoil him. He does play some but always uses soft paws and not his claws to grab at feet, hands. He is very comfortable with the chihuahua and snuggles right up to her and rubs his face and body against her. He is still very territorial when it comes to the larger dog and will launch a non playful attach on her if she gets within a few feet of whatever he perceives to be “his area” so probably best not with larger dogs.

Max does need a yard where he can go outside to do his big boy cat thing. He is about 6 years old. In Soldotna. Call or text 953-0333

ANGEL and FUJI

Fuji and Angel lived most of their lives in a quiet home with  a nice man and about 6 other cats and it was fine. They had a peaceful co-existance. But then their person got sick and passed away. So Fuji and his feline family were suddenly in that awful place of being homeless.

Fuji and Angel were two of the lucky ones. They got a place in rescue. They are doing great in foster the happy peacefulness of their past lives is evident in their sweet personalities and mellow behavior.

Fuji is about 12 years old. He’s a fluffy soft black and white boy, very handsome. He is playful and friendly  and easily takes the center of attention. He also feels like it’s his job to make sure Angel is okay and regularly concerns himself with checking on her in her hidden napping spot. He’s the best big brother!

Angel is 11, pretty brown tabby mask and cloak over her snow white coat. She is calm and mellow and content with a quiet place to nap all day. Both cats are good with nice kids, other cats, and calm dogs. They so easily fit into the foster home. They are so easy to love.

These long-time housemates seem to enjoy each other’s company very much. They tend to cling to the security of hanging out together, and would certainly be happy to be adopted to the same home.  They will need a little yard where they can step out and enjoy the sunshine, maybe even explore a bush for voles and shrew activity.

LEO

Sweet Leo. He was found on the street cold and hungry. Right away he was a sweet, cuddly, playful companion. He’s great with people, older kids and dogs but he’s hit or miss with other cats. He’s happiest without them but he tolerates some. He’d definitely prefer a home without other kitties around. He loves going outside and handles being on a harness but would rather o exploring on his own. He needs lots of loves and a companion who will play with him every day. JUNIPER

Juniper is a petite 8-10 months old beautiful, grey and white tabby. She was trapped after living under an abandoned shed for some time and sneaking up to the porch for meals,

She’s got mischievous kitten energy; always curious about what you’re up to, what’s on the counters, what you’re having dinner… she wants to know it all! She loves snuggles, pets and sitting right on top of your chest to purr contently.

It took a couple weeks for her to get used to the other cats in the house, but now she will groom and play wrestle with her foster brothers.
She has not been around dogs yet and would love to explore the outside in the summers.

BALOO

Baloo is an adorable tiny boy who is super blue gray and as cute as a button. His 4 1/2 months but old but is the size of a 3 month old kitten. He had distemper as a tiny babe and amazingly survived. But it left him stunted and a little wobbly.

Baloo loses his balance at times which causes him to stumble a bit and fall. He seems to be getting less unstable as he gets older. But still he will need a loving family who will be willing  to give him the safe place he needs to play and explore without danger. Baloo may be a little unstable but he doesn’t let that stop his spirited venture of life.

He’s tiny but mighty! He loves food, all food! He will launch himself at your plate, given the chance.  He loves sitting in your lap to watch TV. He loves cuddling with kiddos in the morning and wake them up for school. He is very clumsy and gets down from high places like a sticky wall octopus. He is possibly the cutest little kitty boy in the universe! He does love other kitties and must have a kitty friend in the home. And when spring comes, he will need a devoted family to take him outside to revel in that wonder called nature. A very safe yard and supervision is required.

Baloo might take a little extra care and help, but he is so worth every effort. He’s a little doll.

If you think you have what it takes to take care of Baloo for a lifetime, please text us at 907.960.0096. In Anc.

He likes to play, and the cat tree with the cave in it is the greatest thing ever. He would fine with another cat and if it’s one who will be his friend, that would be great. And he will be okay

LILY

This is Lily. She’s a sweet,  loving girl about 5 years old. She will snuggle next to you at night and  anytime you’re on the couch or the bed. She is a kind sensitive girl who seems to know when you need her, and will always be there for you when you need a friend by your side. She is friendly with visitors and is somewhat of a couch potato, though she enjoys her evening and morning playtime. She loves playing with string toys especially. She also likes car rides, and being outside.

Lily prefers to initiate contact and would do well with an owner who allows her to pick when she wants to snuggle.  Lily arrived at the Mat-Su shelter overweight and was started on a weight management diet. A gradual reduction of calories in her foster home has been easy and Lily has shed some pounds which helps her be more agile. Her adopter should be open to continuing this journey with Lily to keep her as healthy as possible. She does like to go outside and she will need a yard to play in and enjoy the inspiration of activity that fresh air gives us all.

Lily is a great cat who will be a purrfect companion for a loving human. She may also do well with another cat who does her own thing or a gentle dog. She’s open to welcoming a new and wonderful life. In Anchorage. Text or call 907-960-0096.

MADDIE

Maddie is a beautiful calico girl, small and colorful. She is slim now from a life as a stray and 5 kittens to raise! She’s done her job now and is ready to have a chance to be the young, playful, carefree girl that she missed out on.

Maddie is a sweetheart. She is so happy to be loved and she is so ready to return all the happiness of being a family together. She tries hard to get along with the other cats in the foster home but they are clannish and haven’t let her in. A nice cat friend though would be fun for her. The dogs, maybe not. But nice people, she would love them very much. She will take a minute to get to know new people and to learn the routine of a new home. But she’s ready! She was found outside, homeless with babies, and that is definitely not something she ever wants to do again. But she does love the outside and will need a safe place to go out for enjoyment when the weather is nice.

He craves play time and his favorite toy is cat balls that he can chase around the house. Outside is his joy and he will need a safe outside place in his new home. BABY GIRL

Baby Girl………she’a not a baby anymore. She’s still a spunky, little spitfire of a cat but she is over a year old.

And cute! Baby Girl is adorable. So sleek and petite with her seriously patterned coat and Halloween mask. She’s a special girl who has a big spirit and a whole lotta silliness wrapped up in that small package. She has no interest in being buds with other cats and probably not dogs. She’s a little ‘don’t mess with me’ kind of kitty. So probably little kids wouldn’t be a good fit. But if you’re looking for a feisty little purrball to join your family–play hard and purr large, and of course go out and keep all the invading rodents out of her territory before she comes back in and curls up like a little humming angel–this is the girl for you.

BENTLEY AND MARCO

Bentley and Marco have been together since Marco was born. They are a great pair and do very well together. They don’t have to be adopted together but we think they would be happier if they are.

Bentley is about 4 years old. His official name is Bentley Howard Studebaker. He’s a handsome Maine Coon looking boy. He is a kind-tempered boy and has taught by example his little buddy, Marco, how to be a good cat.

Marco is the youngster of the pair, born about a year ago. He has that Maine Coon look too, fluffy with ear tufts and a lush coat.

Bentley and Marco are good buddies. They hang out together, play together when Marco can convince Bentley that, any time day or night, is playtime. They are absolultely great family cats who will fit into any happy family although, being cats, they would appreciate less chaos rather than more. If there is craziness to be found in the house, Marco would love to be the one to initiate it.

These sweeties would love to have a safe yard to play in when the weather is nice, exploring bushes and just hanging out with their family. They can be adopted separately but would do best as a pair. They are in Anchorage. Call or text 907 980-8898

JULIAN

Julian is a very sweet boy who is shy. He looks like the tiger from Calvin and Hobbes but he must have been a bird in his past life. He loves to be perched on top of his cat tower or a bookshelf and his meow sounds like chirping. But it’s not always been that way for Julian.

Julian came from an indoor hoarding situation and was extremely shy. He would shove himself into a corner or find the smallest hiding space. It was almost like he was afraid to step out into the light. He is still learning that an outstretched hand is to pet him and give him love and attention and not to hurt him. But Julian is really starting to blossom in foster now that he is becoming more confident. He is coming out and socializing, coming (shyly) to his name, and giving head butts.  Julian loves to be pet while he eats and will do the cutest prance when he is happy.

He loves other cats and LOVES nice dogs. He needs a stable, quiet, and permanent home with people that will give him the time, understanding, and love that he needs to help him continue to gain his confidence. We are certain that in the right home Julian will bloom into a wonderful family pet. Other cats and/or dogs in the home is a must too, Julian really enjoys the company of other fur babies. He will also need a safe, protected yard or outside area where he can go with his family once he has bonded with his family. Julian may be shy but he has so much love to give!

Julian might be a year or two old. Ready for a new life with all the wonders of a happy life yet to discover and enjoy. And P.S., he’s gorgeous.

LLeonardo is a sweet big tabby boy, about 4 years old. He was living on the streets for a while before some kind people  rescued him, and he is incredibly grateful! He is super sweet and loves people! He can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you better he loves pets and just hanging out. Unfortunately, one of the cats in his foster home is kind of mean to him, but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body! He just wants to hang out with his family and enjoy being a kitty. He has felt intimidated by cats in the foster home. He may do fine with a very gentle welcoming, non-aggressive cat. Or he may have been so intimidated in the trailer court, he is too afraid to get through the meeting period. But he very much loves his people and would be a love with a family.   Leo will need an outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine in. He is about 4 years old.

BOWIE

Bowie is a gorgeous, smooth and handsome young man. He spent the majority of his young 5 month life inside a cage at the shelter. He missed out on all the fun kitten things, like chasing string,  playing with other kitties, taking naps on warm laps. But, Bowie is a fast learner!

He is smart and playful and loves love, still a little guy with growing and learning to do. His foster feline brothers and sisters have helped him learn what boundaries are and how to play nicely. He still likes his own safe, covered area to retreat to when things are a bit loud or hectic.  But when it’s quiet he likes to snuggle near you and purrs instantly when you pet him. He has also learned that nice dogs are ok to be around. He is neat and tidy, and enjoys catnip and treats and comes running for soft food. He still has that kitten mentality, and will need some guidance, but must have at least 1 kitty playmate in the house. His purr motor has been running overtime getting tuned up for the lucky family that he can call his own, forever.

Kitten in Homer–SLIVER

Sliver is a tiny little slip of a girl. Pretty with her tigery coat and that adorable little face. She’s tiny, but she’s fierce.

Somehow she ended up all by herself beside the road (wonder how that happened) and was spotted by the people AT the only house nearby. She darted in and out of the bushes like the fearful little wild thing she was.The people started putting food out and when the trap was set, it took 10 minutes to get her. She was so hungry she finished the food even after the door slammed down!
On the ride to her foster home, she let us know that she might be tiny but she was not ready to give up.
I’m pretty sure this tiny being could outshriek the best of the big boy nighttime howlers. It was the stuff that heavy metal is made of. And deafness. She was very scared in the foster home. Humans hadn’t done her any favors in her short life and she didn’t trust them. And yet she thrived.
NOW, little Sliver knows how to purr when she is cuddled up in a loving person’s arms. She knows that pets feel good and that someone loves her and that there is food and a warm bed and kitty friends in this world and that is good. She still has the instinctual behavior of caution when there are unexpected movements or sounds. She sprints off for cover when big people move around so she doesn’t yet feel comfortable with a human looming over her. But that will come with time and the confidence that she really is no longer alone in a ditch with nothing but scary strangeness around her. A home with kitty friends and people she can trust, time, love, and tiny Sliver will be the most amazing strong kitty girl a family could wish for.
In her new home, she will need feline friends who will love her, people who will always care for her, and a safe yard to play in with her family when the weather is fine. Joy and happiness is what she will need.

She’s spayed, vaccinated, chipped. In Homer but she could get a ride for the perfect family. Call 907 980-8898

SPICE DROP

Born in the wild and trapped as kitten, she was named Spice Drop because she was a very spicy (read wild) kitten; she would hiss and growl and spit and act fierce long after her brothers and sisters befriended their humans. Spice has come a long way and you could never tell now how wild she was as a baby. While she loves human attention and is comfortable being in the presence of people, her wild side is selective as to when and where she will accept loves, and from whom. Downstairs, she lets her foster dad love all over her, but when she goes upstairs, she becomes skittish and keeps her distance. Her foster mom, however, feels special any time she is able to sneak in a pet.

Spice is very curious and likes to watch her humans go about their daily tasks, especially while working in the kitchen, but will run if they get too close. If they can’t find her, they can generally find her under the couch, her favorite place to hide. Spice is a tree dweller and likes to survey her territory from the top of the tall cat tree. She does okay with gentle dogs who leave her alone, and enjoys playing with other cats. Older gentle kids would be okay, but little kids make a lot of noise that would send her scurrying under the couch. She LOVES to watch cat TV, and will need a safe outside space in the summer to investigate all the things she sees on TV.

In Soldotna but can travel for the purrfect home. Call or text 907-460-6620.

SPONGEE

We don’t know who named him. But he is very soft and huggable and so nice to cuddle up with.

Spongee is a handsome, blue-eyed, romantic-novel looking boy. He has a silky ivory coat with sunset orange highlights. He’s about 14 years old and so ready for a comfortable life with someone who loves him and will take care of him.

Spongee was found outside as a stray. He is chipped but the owner of record did not respond to our contact attempts. But knowing his recent history, we were almost relieved. Back in February Spongee spent a time in the Mat-su Shelter under protective custody because of a neglect situation. Apparently he was then returned to the owner,  and apparently abandoned again. It’s been rough. It’s not the life Spongee should have. He’s an older boy and what he needs is a stable home where he can be happy, loved, protected. He needs to know that he is safe and will always always be cared for.

Spongee is not a great fan of having a lot of other cats around or the tumult of chaos. He is looking for a quiet,  peaceful home with a loving human who is settled, responsible, and committed to doing the right thing for their family. If you are looking for a great napping partner, a silky sweet guy to share cuddles with, a companion to sit in the sun with you and ponder the sound of birdsong and touch of the breeze, Spongee is your guy.

BEAR

Bear is the guy. He has the nicest personality. He’s so gentle that he was having some trouble being picked on by the bad boys in his first foster home. All he really wants is love.

His past is awful so we want his future life to be wonderful; time for a big change. Bear lived about 4 years in a chicken coop after his people left. He was eventually fed by some people who liked having him there to have him control the rodents. They asked Clear Creek to get him neutered and return him. But when we rescued him, we found that he is not a feral cat, not by any means. He so much wants to be loved. The kind family who had been feeding him didn’t have a place where he could be inside with people, so they asked if we could find him a loving home. And so that is exactly what we want to do.

Bear is very affectionate with people. He might take a bit to get used to a new home with strangers, but give him a minute and he will bloom with love. He can get along with other cats and mellow dogs as long as they are kind and mellow. Older gentle children might be his perfect people. He just needs love and kindness and care. He does still love to step outside and enjoy the pleasant days in nature. But never again does he want to be all alone with no family.

Bear is so ready for that perfect family to be his own. If you could give this sweet gentle soul a place in your home and heart, please give us a call or text at 907 953-0333. He’s in Soldotna but can travel for love.

Tucker is a gentle soul ready for his perfect family. He’s probably a couple years old and has the cutest harlequin face ever!

He’s a lover! He loves attention, laying on your lap, and following you wherever you go. If pet in a place he doesn’t like, he gives the gentlest warning. No mean kitty here. He does great with kids and friendly cats. Very food motivated and loves to play. A cat or kid friend would be purrfection!

GRAYCIE

If you have ever felt that you needed more supervision in the bathroom or oversight of your dishwashing or a reminder that it’s playtime (its always playtime), curious, sassy Graycie is just the cat you need. She’s two years old, a clown with a cute little black nose and a soft medium gray coat. She’s a talker and will converse on any topics you choose. She’ll also keep your feet warm at night and defend you against wand toys and anything that bounces or rolls. She will need a safe place to go outside when weather permits. A home with an older child who could play and cuddle with her gently would be fine.

She’s in Moose Pass but can travel for a family. Call or text 907 953-0333

RANDY

Meet Randy! He’s a big, sweet, easygoing guy. Quietly confident. Deep rumble purrs. He’s lived the colony life long enough. Now, living at home with people is the bees knees. Life with another cat or two would be good. He doesn’t snuggle with them, but seems to enjoy just being in other kitties presence. He loves to sleep with his people,. And doggos are alright, as long has he has a space to retreat to when he’s had enough. Must have lots of snuggles. Must have safe outdoor access.

He appears to be a mid-age adult. In Anchorage. Call or text 907 960-0096

KITSU

Kitsu is a beautiful girl, with the distinctive dappled features of a tortoiseshell cat without the picky attitude that torties are often known for. She has the sweetest temperament.

Kitsu can be shy at first. She had hard life before being rescued. That left her with reasons not to trust. But she does want to be loved, so if you  give her attention and pets and show her you are loved, she will warm up quickly . She likes to sit on your lap and soak up all the reassurance that she is in a safe warm place where she won’t ever have to struggle for food again. She can be playful and will play with other cats that are friendly to her and not threatening.  She plays with toys as if she was a kitten, throwing them and chasing them around the room. She will play with her humans too. She has cute, adorable moves and can give the sweetest looks.

If you have passion for cats and can give Kitsu a special place in your heart and home , she is for you and you won’t regret it. She will be your loyal friend for ever. She in Soldotna. Call or text 907  953-0333
