ZUTE

Total lover!

You can tell by his ears that life has not been cushy for this most awesome boy. They are frozen off and there are scabs over his body from whatever was going on in his homeless world. He has one of the strangest stories of how he was found and ended up with rescue that I’ve heard. A woman was in her house and she heard the back door open and close and then this cat appeared; her cat reacted by attacking the cat, she shooed the cat into a separate room and took a minute to recover before she called us. Someone had just thrown the cat into her house! A most mysterious and weird cat delivery.

And that is how Zute came to be in rescue. And he seems very very happy that he is!

He’s the best boy! After he was treated for his injuries, he settled into a foster home like he had always lived there. It’s easy to see that at some point in his life, he had a home and a family. He lives for head scratches. He’s very curious and he likes to be in the action. When he gets excited in play, he will play bite. Not hard to hurt but probably best if not with small children. He is definitely not aggressive in any way and loves nothing more than to be pet and to sit next to his person. We think he’ll do fine with another nice cat. Uncertain of dogs. He will need a place to go outside, if he wants to, in nice weather.

He’s ready for a happy home with people who will love him forever. He’s in Eagle River. Call or text 907 980-8898
