KOYO

Koyo is still waiting and wishing for her forever home. As you can see, she is very cute! But read below to see if you could be the right home for her! Her purrsonality/story: —She was a stray for almost the first year of her life. We think she is around 1.5 years old.

-Koyo was rescued in the fall time, and her name means ‘red leaf’ in Japanese 🍁.

-She loves to play! She likes small plushy toys that she can bat around, leap to catch, and carry in her mouth around the house. Her favorite is a plush chocolate chip cookie 🍪

-She loves other cats! Her foster brothers and sisters are her buddies and play mates.

-Koyo is an independent, brave girl. She is confident and curious. She is still getting used to human touch, but she lets you know everyday with slow blinks that she is grateful to be out of the cold. She also likes to sleep at the foot of the bed.

-even though she is still getting used to being pet, she is not scared of people. She likes to be in the main room where all the action is. Sometimes she will tease you and roll on her belly, then when you try to pet her she playfully runs away.

-she loves meal time! She will become your little shadow as it gets closer to dinner. She doesn’t meow to beg for food, but rather dances around your feet with her tail curled up, sweetly looking up at you as if to say, “feed me, please!!”

Koyo’s ideal family:

-already has a playful cat who could use a buddy 🐈‍⬛️. We are unsure about dogs, but would imagine she would do fine being slowly introduced to a dog who is used to being around cats.

-are the kind of people that understand that cats can sometimes take a long time to trust humans, but love the rewarding feeling of slowly building trust over time.

-has a safe outdoor space for her to enjoy rolling around in the grass.

She is in Wasilla, hoping and waiting for her own loving family. CAll 907 980-8898
