Emerald (Emmy) is a one-year-old beauty who was picked up by Mat Su Animal Shelter. We don’t know much about her past, but her present is full of fun. She has all the best qualities of a one year old, playful curious and sweet, coupled with a mellow sedate nature. No zoomies for this sophisticated tuxedo girl.

Emmy doesn’t have a shy bone in her body. She got along well with the other kitties at the shelter and she has been indifferent to the mellow dog at her foster home.

Emmy likes to chill but she goes with the flow of the family. During the day she’s busy supervising the household tasks and keeping an eye on the bird feeders. But after dinner she’s ready to do some grooming to keep her beautiful coat neat and shiny, knead some biscuits and settle on your lap for a good snooze,  then wake up, ready to follow you to bed. If you’d like a cat that could fit into your household instantly, Emmy is your girl.

She will need a safe place where she could go outside in good weather, and a kitty companion would be nice for her.  Mellow dogs and kids are acceptable.

Hurry before her foster parents decide they can’t give her up. She is that adorable.
