Meet Crystal Light! She’s precious, and an elder kitty. Was found in the valley freezing and wailing with huge mats in her fur and open lacerations. The wonderful couple who found her brought her inside and reached out to Clear Creek Cat Rescue for help getting her to safety.
So we have had the pleasure of caring for her. Mats shaved off, laceration sutured. Sub q fluids given till she no longer needed them.
Oh, did I mention she’s about 16-17 years old? Her microchip is from 2007.
Now, Crystal is enjoying warmth, snuggles and lots of food…and has decided it’s not time for me to get up today, as I must be her snuggle buddy.
