CALI

After being found as a stray, Cali was housed in a warm garage for 2 years.  She had a warm place to sleep, and food, and a kitty litter box. She would go out exploring in the daytime. When she came into rescue, we found that she was already spayed. She had been someone’s girl and loved at one time and that is obvious..

Cali is beautiful with a unique face and a calico coat. She loves to be petted, brushed, snuggled. Her foster mom brushes her every day and her fur is getting better softer and silkier. She is starting to get the hang of living inside an human occupied house again and she seems to enjoy the company of beloved humans who will give her cuddles and pets. She’s remembering how sweet it was to have a home and family. It’s clear that it’s a happy memory. She is settling in and discovering all the wonders of being loved by people.

We don’t know how old Cali is; she seems like a mid-age adult. She’s spunky and curious but she is also mellow and happy to chill out with a settled person. We don’t know how she is with other animals but she may do fine with a slow introduction. She will need a safe place to go outside to enjoy her daily fresh air activities such as hunting.

She’s in Eagle River. Call 907 980-8898
