BUTTONS, CHAI, and PARSLEY

Buttons is dressed to impress at the next black-tie event and ready to woo the women. How could anybody resist such a handsome guy in his tabby coat and bright eyes! His favorite pose is to stretch out both front legs and show how wonderful lounging can be. With a coat that feels like silk he is content as can be to purr and soak up all the love he can get.

Chai is the ultimate lovebug and is always the first one at the door to greet you and rub against your legs. She will even raise up onto her hind legs to make it easier to pet her. Dressed in her Siamese coat she is super soft and is always purring. If you’re in the room, she is always with you requesting more attention.

Parsley is sophisticated and always neatly groomed in his orange tabby coat. Never a hair out of place he will sit and observe what you’re doing before the rumble of his purr begins. With slow movements of your hand, he thinks pets are a pretty cool thing, and don’t forget to give cheek scratches. He loves those!

These kittens are 4-5 months old, have been raised with cats and dogs and would be fine with older children in a calmer home setting. Having a safe yard is a must per their request where they can spend time with their families on nice warm days! They are in Palmer.

PEARL

A little Love Machine! That’s Pearl.

If you’d seen her a month ago, you wouldn’t guessed it’s the same cat.  Somehow, Pearl ended up at the animal shelter.   After a few weeks there, she was so stressed that she could no longer pass the behavior test. She was too worried and overanxious and overstimulated by everything. Things did not look good for her.  But fast forward a couple weeks in a foster home and just look at her now!

In a loving home without all the chaos and confinement of a cage in a busy, noisy place, Pearl is a dream kitty. She loves loves loves to be pet. She loves to snuggle up with her people. She loves to be the best companion for a kind family. She is just a Love!

Pearl is about 2 years old. Petite with those big expressive eyes. She is fine at the foster home with the other cats. (We don’t know about dogs.) But her absolute favorite in the house is the human who gives her lots and lots of love. If you’re looking a little sweetheart to fill that happiness void in your settled home, Pearl would be a perfect fit!

Pearl would love a little yard where she can go outside and smell the breeze and sit in the sun sometimes. And a person, or even  more than one, who will be her beloved human forever.

ARTHUR

Meet Arthur.  He is a giant love bug.  Confident, dignified and dressed in sophisticated attire.

Arthur has been spending his days keeping another cat company and didn’t seem upset being around a very mellow dog.  He originally came from the large group of cats so he is likely to get along with feline who will be nice with him. He LOVES to be pet.

If you aren’t petting Arthur, he will gently reach out and pat you with all his extra toes to remind you to love on him. He is so happy to be in a home where kind people love and care for him. This one is temporary and he hopes for one that will last forever.

The vet guessed him at about a year old. He’s a big solid guy who has been taking care of himself while he makes sure his people are given all the love they need. He will require a safe place to go outside in nice weather with his family. He’s smart and capable and will be your best cat ever.

GROUSE

Hello everyone, nice to meet you!  My name is Grouse.  I’m the last of my litter left in foster care.  My mom, Dove is also here with me and my cousin Valentino.

Don’t get me wrong, this place is awesome but like my litter mates, I’d like to start my next adventure with my FURever hooman family.  Could that be you?   I am curious to return to the outdoors, where I was born but let me tell you…house livin is WHERE IT’S AT!  I am a bit shy but I look to the other cats to see if things are okay.  I love to be pet, play with toys, other cats, use the rope scratching post, sleep in my cave bed (so cool!) and climb my cat tree.  I absolutely love soft food.  My foster mom feeds it to me each night as a bedtime treat.

I like that the foster house is a quieter one.  There are nice dogs here that allow me to sniff them and when they play wrestle with another I get up and away from them in my tree and observe at a safe distance.  The older hooman kids are okay too.  They move a bit fast for me at times and I hiss at them but then they softly talk to me and I quickly settle down and know they mean no harm.  I’m still not a fan of being picked up but my foster mom still does it daily and gives me little kisses and sets me down.  She keeps saying soon I’ll love to be picked up and maybe carried around.

I’m about 6 months old. I’ve seen the doctor and been neutered, microchipped and am up to dates on my shots.  If you have room for me or my cousin or mom, reach out to Clear Creek Cat Rescue and ask about us!

ROCK STEADY

This solid hunk of burning love is ROCK STEADY!

He is blind.

We could call him a ‘special needs’ cat because of his blindness. But it doesn’t fit Rock at all. Blindness does not define him. He navigates the world with ease and with the most amazing confidence and joy.

This is what Rock’s foster has to say–

“He is the best cat ever—he loves everyone; when my friends come over, he always ends up in their laps. We have a lot of cats in our neighborhood so they are always in and out of our yard. I was very nervous about taking him outside but he loves it out there and has the entire back yard mapped out in his head. Now he goes out all the time- without me supervising him- and when he wants to come in he knows where the doors are at. Our one neighbor has a little black cat who spends a lot of time in our yard- and rock and the kitten really have fun together. Do not know how it would be if they were indoors.

The little one hides and rock smells or hears her-they never fight. Yesterday morning I saw him sitting on the grass with a bird about 4 feet away from him-both just sitting there.

He is amazing- he navigates so easily- if he bumps into something he just keeps going. He may be the smartest cat I have ever had. Blindness does not define him- it is not a handicap-he does everything a sighted cat does-except jump over the fence . If I were younger we would keep him forever. Everyone in the family loves him and he loves everyone back. Come winter and cold weather, I think he will be bored inside. Toys don’t really interest him- but he sure likes his food bowls.”

Rock might like a gentle cat friend. We don’t know for sure. But what we do know is that he is a very active, curious, and super intelligent boy who needs a family of his own. He may be 12 years old but he has lots of time to be some loving family’s best boy for years to come.

With people, this boy is a loving maniac. He LOVES people. He loves to be held, to be pet, to be cuddled, to be with you. He was clearly the beloved boy of his person till they had to leave for medical treatment. Now he has to find a new human to give his all to. And when he turns his love on you, you will be the luckiest person in the world.

If you’re looking for a unique character in a furry hunk’o’steel frame, please call or text 907 980-8898. He’s in Anchorage.

BO and WALLABY

This is love. Bo and Wallaby—the sweetest brothers/ See them together and there is no doubt that they love each other so much.

They are a couple of years old and all we know about them is that someone kept them as barn cats.  So they are outside savvy.  But these very sweet, friendly boys seem to crave the warm cozy beds and love from humans.

Bo is a master biscuit maker and loves a good lap snuggle, even if he has a hard time sitting still.  Wallaby is affectionate and brave; he looks out for Bo.  Both are super sweet and love to be underfoot and help out whenever possible.  They are both purr monsters and looking for humans to call their own.  Nothing is better than a hug from one of these beefy boys.

They are bonded brothers and need to be adopted together.  Other nice cats and older kids would be fine but we are unsure how they would be with a friendly dog. They will need a safe place to explore outside.
