JackJack is the nicest guy ever! He is very affectionate, loves to follow his person around and ‘help’ with house chores and yard chores. He came to us declawed and needs a home where he gets lots of love and attention, as well as some simple supplements in his food to help with the inevitable inflammation connected with declaws.
He’s a senior cat, maybe 12 years old. He’s been through a lot and understands that life is not always pleasant. He has a great attitude anyway. And it’s time now for JackJack to get a great home, where he will be loved and adored and have the kind of family who would never abandon him or ignore his needs. He’s wonderful and deserves a wonderful family.

Maddy is a very young black and white beauty with fur as soft as a bunny!
She loves to be pet, picked up and loved on. She’s friendly to strangers and
Maddy
doesn’t mind commotion too much.
As much as Maddy loves to be snuggled on, she also loves playing! Give her a stuffed mouse or swing a string in her view and she’s ready to pounce and romp around.
She does well with kids and other kitties and may do well with a nice dog.
Maddy is pretty much a perfect kitty just waiting for her perfect family.

Xander is Cotter’s (see above) best friend and about a year and a half old.
She is silky soft with a huge heart and a fun pixie look, curled ears included. Xander doesn’t do anything halfway! Once you have earned her trust, she loves big and purrs even bigger!
Xander wants to be big and fearless but she remembers the hard days
of living in the colony so her guard is still up. She loves lap time and loves to kneed (with claws out) so
Xander thinks thick lap blankets are normal. You will often find her sharing a sunny window seat or on your bed.
She would like a quiet, stable home to share her love with you. She does not want to be picked up or held, but will come for loves every chance she gets.
She will require time to get to know you but will reward your patience with absolute devotion. She is fine with other nice kitties and patient kids who will play wand toys with them would be just their thing. No pups please.

Anna
A lovely gray and white girl, Comet is a senior cat with a gentle kind nature. She is short haired and well mannered. She came to us declawed.
Comet is so easy to keep and to love. She demands nothing and wishes only to have a home with love. She has lived with other cats and with dogs and would do fine with older children. Comet would do great in a quiet loving home with a human who will be her special one.

Definitely a lap kitty and is fine if left alone during the day.

Minnie is a gorgeous Maine Coon looking girl with a lush coat. She’s maybe about 3 years old.
She is a shy girl, introverted and reserved; she likes quiet and lounging. She does well with other mellow cats but she also enjoys having a space of her own to hide when she wants to do her own thing. She’s not quite ready to come to people yet, but she’s very sweet if you get her out of her spot. She rolls over for tummy rubs and purrs and lets you know that she is so happy to be given love. It will take a bit for her to totally trust people so a family that is willing to work with her opening up some more would be good!! And once she is bonded with her people, expect the sweetest little floofy girl ever! Once she is settled in, she will need a safe place to go outside and enjoy the natural world which she adores.

Lil Bit is cutie pie perfection! She’s soft gray about 4 or 5 months old.
Lil bit is a spaz 
. She loves to play play play. Very spunky. Likes cats/kids/attention. She hisses at the dogs but pretty sure she can adjust. She is a super fun kitty to add to your family. She will definitely need a kitty friend in her new home and a safe yard where she can take some of that fun kitten energy outside during the nice weather.

Did you ever hear the nursery rhyme “There was a crooked man”? That crooked man had a crooked cat.
Cotter is the crooked cat who is wise beyond his very few years. He spent his very young life fighting hard to survive on the outskirts of a kitty colony and has a crooked tail he proudly displays as his battle scar. Along the way, he found his love for other kitties and has a bff in rescue.
Cotter is a mellow boy with a thick, gorgeous grey coat, about 2 years old, who is very thoughtful and cautious about life. Cotter loves a good scrubbing scratch. He is a polydactyl and looks like he has thumbs, but they are not opposable, so he relies on his hoomans to love him, open treats and play kitty wand toys with him.
He is a big boy with a quiet voice who asks nicely for pets. His quiet purr is a treasured reward for being able to earn his trust. Cotter loves a good view so he asks for a window to be able to nap next to.

Sylvester, he’s a big handsome boy who has been through a lot in his short life. He is just 5 years old. He has the most soulful eyes, full of knowing what it’s like to have been loved and then to have been homeless and on his own. It couldn’t have been easy, the cold and hunger and loneliness. But he got through it and came to us with such a calm polite manner, along with a reserve as if he’s waiting for the real love of his life, his real family and home to appear. He so wants to be loved, and when the family he’s been waiting for comes along, he will bloom with happiness.
Sylvester enjoys the outdoors, so will need a yard to explore in nice weather. He does okay with other mellow cats but doesn’t enjoy dogs. He does love his people. If you have a void in your home, Sylvester is just the love you need.

Chester is a young fellow, maybe 8 or 9 months old. He is quite handsome in his special tuxedo coat with an exclamation point down his cute little nose and a puff of white on his magnificent ruff.
Chester is a wonderful guy who needs a little time to show off his sweetness. He is a little shy with strangers. He wants to get to know you before he’s sure you’re okay. But once you get the Chester stamp of approval, you will be in for love and devotion from this sweet boy. He does fine with other nice cats and he would be nice with a mellow, respectful dog. Little kids might be a bit much but older children who are gentle and kind would be purrfect. He has spent time outside and will need a safe place to enjoy himself when the weather is nice.

Ruth is a gorgeous lush-coated girl with the cutest little harlequin face. She is black and white with silky fur. She is maybe 6 years old.
Ruth is a sweet gentle girl. She will purr her little heart out for a quiet gentle pet by the ones she loves. She loves to sit next to her person and purr and cuddle and snooze a while. A great companion for a kind person who wants a well behaved cat that will bond with them and share their settled home. Ruth would probably do fine with another mellow cat who ignores her, or she may even become friends with a feline who is as respectful and gentle as she is. She is such an easy girl to care for and love. She enjoys her hideaway naps during the day so someone who works during the day but who will give her love and attention when they get home would be perfect. She will need a settled home without chaos.

Cute as a button and sweet as honey, little Rosebud is adorable. She has a darling little face with a gray tabby mask that flows onto her back and down her sides. She is maybe a year or two old.
Rosebud is delightful. She is a great snuggler and an excellent family companion. She gets along with the other cats and enjoys the attention of the kids, who are mid-age, in the foster home. We don’t know about dogs. Her sweetness makes everything seem better with the world. She will need a safe outside area where she can play to her heart’s content.

Oliver Twist and Simon are sleek, short haired tiger boys. They are bonded brothers about a year old.
Oliver and Simon are full of fun and silliness. They just need capes and masks to be the super heroes they are sure they are. They will provide hours of entertainment every day. The race around and romp and flip and turn circles. They are like a bolt of energy and joy and give your life a supercharge. These little scamps are very affectionate kitties. They love to be held and snuggled and petted and played with. They love their people. They will need a family that wants an interactive pair of boys. Cuddles at nap time and lots of playing when it’s time for fun. They would be great for nice kids. They will want to go outside when the weather is nice, to romp around the yard and enjoy the happiness of being young and full of life. They don’t mind dogs at all; and they are fine with other cats but can be a little annoying to cats who don’t want to play.

Campbell is loving the life of playing and lounging, and always having enough to eat and a warm bed. She didn’t start out living the luxury life. But she is so happy to have found that it exists. Racing around the house playing with her kitty friends and her doggie friends and the kid friends, it’s GREAT! She likes the yard too when the weather is nice. She loves hanging out with her family and getting lots of love, and she will purrrrrr to prove it. She will be a little shy with strangers at first but love and affection with overcome that in a hurry. She will need a feline friend in her new home and a safe yard.

A little bit damaged but oh so wonderful, Yowie is ready for a home.
Yowie is a charmer, so full of energy and affection and he does love to talk to you about when dinner will be ready, about your day. He’s maybe a couple years old and will be a great family cat. He seems to do okay with dogs who leave him alone. And he might be okay with a mellow girl kitty. But he’s happy to be with his people. He came to us with huge wound on his neck, and now that he’s all better (though he may always have a scar) he has proven what a lover he is.

Bandit is a darling little guy about 5 months old. He is handsome ebony and so so soft.
Bandit is a cutie pie. Shy at first with strangers but he wants to have a human friend. He LOVES other cats and will need a kitty friend in his new home. Look! Who just jumped in the cardboard box after her toy just she flung up in the air and it landed in the best spot ever? It’s Anna! Our girl with a playful, energetic personality and a spring in her step. As soon as she rescues her toy out of the box she leaps out and walks right over to find her favorite spot when it’s time to relax. Foster mom’s lap. She is definitely a lap cat. Content and full of love to share and lots of purrs she curls up and closes her eyes. Anna loves other kitties and will need a kitty friend in her new home. Mushu. Great BIG beautiful boy about 4 years old. He’s amazing!
He’s a talker!! Does well with well behaved dogs ,children and other felines. Loves laser lights and toys, has a playful side. He is good at entertaining himself so he doesn’t need your attention all the time, but he does love to interact with his people. Playing or loving; he is a lover! He does love to be pet and cuddled. And he loves to have a high perch where he can check out his world. He’s a great guy! He will need a safe place to go outside and enjoy the nice days when summer comes.

Big, beautiful, round-faced orange and white boy, Cheerio is adorable. He has a short haired coat and he always looks well groomed. He is built muscular, Alaskan style. Maybe 3 years old.
Cheerio is an affectionate guy who likes to be pet. He is extremely lovable. He likes to play and get hugs. But he is not demanding for your attention. He enjoys his private time too. He will definitely need a place to go outside in good weather. He prides himself on being a real Alaskan kind of guy. He seems to tolerate other mellow cats well and he can co-exist with a mellow dog. Cheerio is the purrfect guy for an Alaskan family.

She likes to have her head scratched and her spot on the couch next to you.
She doesn’t really like any fast movements so a quiet home is essential.
WARNING: She is extremely needy! As soon as you start to pet her and then stop, she will just meow to the end of the world until you start again. 🙂
She will occasionally sleep in your bed but she also likes to sleep under the bed when she needs her space.
Best as an only cat, but might be okay with a mellow companion.

Pumpkin is a gorgeous long-haired orange boy with huge feet. He’s been shaved now and looks pretty funny. He’s sturdy and handsome and easy going. He’s about 3 years old.
Pumpkin is a great cat. He has quite a cut personality.. he loves to get loves! He will grab your hand with his paw and pull it back to him for more loves… he is a pretty playful guy. He does have a bad habit of getting on the table. And he will let you know when you need to move something from the top of the frig so he can get to his watch post. He does just fine with other cats. We don’t know about dogs. He enjoys hanging out with his family, being pet, and when the weather is nice and the mood strikes him, he enjoys jaunts in the yard.

Howell is the most adorable little boy, all black and soft and SOOO cute. He has a partially broken tail but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He is about 4 or 5 months old.
Howell is a little shy still but will come and greet you at the door for pets while purring loudly and meowing at you. If you sit down and are gentle, he will come to sit in my lap to be petted. He’s got a lot of energy. And loves running around playing with his brother or the dog. He gets along well with the other cat in the house and the dog. He seems to love anyone who will pet him. He will need a kitty friend and a safe yard at his new home.

Smokey is an exquisitely beautiful Nebelung cat. She is maybe a year or two old, soft as cashmere and sweet as honey.
Smokey is a darling little girl who loves her people. She has great snuggling skills and would love to share them with you. She has nice house manners. She likes the older kids in the house and would love to have a nice kid friend to be her special person. She could keep the bed warm while they are at school and then provide entertainment and cuddles all evening. She would love to go outside with her friends in the summer and enjoy happy yard time.

Callie is a beautiful long haired calico girl with a darling face. She came to us declawed on all four feet. She is about 8 years old.
Callie is the sweetest thing. She loves to be pet and she is very playful with her people. She will purr her little heart out to be loved and cared for. She doesn’t do well in a busy home. But she doesn’t want to retire to doing nothing either. She enjoys a little fun with her family, some enjoyable activities and a whole lot of snuggling up. Callie was in a shelter with lots of other cats for a while and she was intimidated by many, so she will need a home as the only or with another very mellow and welcoming cat who will not be aggressive with her. And probably best without a dog unless it is a dog that tends to imitate a rug. This wonderful cat so needs a family of her very own to love.

King Arthur is SO handsome. He’s creamsicle colors, soft orange and ivory with an adorable face and tiny socks. He is young, maybe a year or two old.
King Arthur is a super laid back guy with an attitude, the attitude that he is strong and capable and can handle whatever comes his way, and that he loves his people so much, he will always take care of them. He is muscular and an excellent hunter. Being a young guy he will need a safe rural-type setting where he can hunt and explore and then come back inside and be your sweet little baby boy. He loves plastic straws and is very clever and smart in his play. He was social and greets guests but 
then settles down and goes off to do his own thing. He is vocal enough to let you know he is around but he’s not annoying. He does not do well with some other cats and dogs so being an only cat would be best. He very much would like to go ‘home’ to a place where he is loved and cared for and will never be without the support and love of a family again.

Beautiful blue eyed Ella! She is a gorgeous and intelligent Siamese girl about 7 years old.
Ella is wonderful. She is a great combination of affection and independence. She does love her people and she very much enjoys laptime with her family when she is done with doing her own thing. She has the ability to entertain herself for long periods, exploring, investigating, just enjoying having her own personal space. And the chance to go outside and bask in the glory of the natural world is a treasure for her. She needs that sense of freedom to fill her spirit with joy. She also needs the love and care of a happy family who will allow her to be the amazing cat that she is. She does not do well with other cats and maybe not dogs either. But she does love, and gives all her devotion to, her people. She is a special, terrific girl.

Vito wants you to know his glamour shots may look like he is black but he is more of a charcoal color with black tabby striping and white whispy highlights. Looks are not everything, he is a goof ball who loves to be snuggled when he is not roughhousing with his siblings. He is a master of entertaining himself and his humans. He is an expert at (not) helping make the bed and (not) helping you in the kitchen. If his human is doing something, Vito wants to help.

Sonny is only a few years old and as cute as can be!
He has the biggest feet and extra toes! He’s a little lion that might be part Maine Coon.
Sonny is a lovey dove with his people. He is shy around new humans, but warms up quickly once he gains your trust and absolutely loves his person’s attention. He will roll over and over for tummy rubs. Sonny gets along well with other kitty friends and he is okay with mellow dogs.
He would love a patient, quiet home where he can get lots and lots of love and attention.
He has a very brave and independent personality and once you give him time to trust you, he will be your best friend!

Big feet, big head, big love, there was no better name for him than Big Boy! He’s a BIG fluffball of orange and white and mellow-ness.
Big Boy is an easy going guy who has no inclinations to cause trouble. It’s all about getting along for him, making life easy and mellow. He thinks it’s happier that way. Any family would be lucky to get this guy. He gets along with other nice cats and kids. As long as it comes at him with love, he can handle just about anything. Big Boy is a magnificent cat in every way, from size to bringing joy. When the weather is good he will need to go outside and have happy times with his family.

Queso is an adorable boy with an orange tiger coat and white chest, toes, and the cutest scrolling over his nose. His ears have suffered the frosting of Alaskan winter.
Queso is a total people lover. Constantly wanting love. Loves to sleep with people and rub all over them. Now that he is in a home with kind people, he can hardly get enough love. He is so grateful for being cared for. He can get along with other cats but will take time/patience for him to feel comfortable with them. He does not seem to do well with dogs. When he’s settled into his new home, he will need a safe place to go outside. But please no more being abandoned without a home.

It’s spring time and this cat is ready for an adventure.
Cat Cora is around eight months old and loves to play. Not one aggressive bone in this cats body (unless you’re a catnip mouse). Loves to cuddle with other loving cats so another cat in the house is a must. Still shy around people but loves scratch under the year. With time and the right family I bet she becomes a cuddle cat.

Mr Butters is a gorgeous guy! He’s got those baby blues and an ivory coat. And those orangey accents on his head, tail and feet. So handsome.
Mr Butters is an easy going, affectionate boy who seems to get along with just about everyone. He is comfortable in a family home with people who are kind. He would probably be fine in a home with nice kids. He seems okay with other cats and dogs who are not intimidating. He’s a wonderful boy. He does love to go outside sometimes so he will need a safe yard to enjoy in summer.

This is Zuteh! You can see that he has lived a tough life on the streets. His ears have been frozen so bad that there is almost nothing of them left. He has a BIG round boy head and a body that is small in proportion. And he’s black. So he has strikes against him already.
But Zuteh, he is a sweetheart. He may look rough but he has a tender happy heart that is so hopeful right now that he will never be abandoned outside again.
This is what we believe we know about his past. A man who lived in a trailer park had 8 cats that he fed. He was kind to them and he would leave his door open so the cats could go in and out. They had a caregiver and someone who loved them. And then the man moved away.
The cats were left to fend for themselves. No food, no water, no shelter. Not being neutered/spayed, they were targets for fighting and breeding. They lived a tough life.
And then a nice lady who lived nearby called us. So far we have trapped 4 of the cats. Zuteh is one of them. Every one of these cats has turned out to be wonderful, affectionate, happy to be loved, so grateful to be fed and warm. They start out a little suspicious but gradually they learn that they are safe and the people who care for them mean well. So they can be pet and they give love in return.
And Zuteh! He plays!!! He loves it when his foster mom gets the toys out and he can throw all cares to the wind and enjoy being a kitten again! Not have to worry about finding food or shelter for the night. Just playing, carefree and happy.
Zuteh still hangs out a lot in his ‘safe’ kitty carrier. He does come out for loving and he likes to be pet. But when he’s done with that adventure of the day, he goes back to his own little house to sleep safe and warm with a full tummy.
We know Zuteh is not pretty. But he has a huge heart that is ready to open and trust humans again to love him and to care for him and to never ever abandon him again.

Meet Annie Q (Q stands for cute!!!). She’s a tiny girl, maybe 5 pounds. An itty bitty Maine Coon type kitty. She didn’t have steady food as a kitten so she didn’t grow big. But that didn’t stop her from developing a sweetness that can steal your heart.
Annie Q is shy but LOVES being pet. She loves to have her face rubbed and her chin scratched and when she is all full of purrs and snuggies, a tummy rub is just purrfect. She gives kitty kisses and nose nuzzles. This is not something she will do when you first meet her; she has to learn to trust you. She is little but she is very smart. While she is checking you out, she will be making friends with the nice cat in your house. She does love to have a cat friend. She talks to her in the tiniest little chirp, calls her to come up and play. She races around with her cat friend and if you’ll join in, she will nicely share the toy.
Annie Q loves her quiet space to nap, and her kitty friend to play with, and she may enjoy a safe yard where she can play in nice weather. But she is young and curious and ready to explore the options of life. We thought she surely needed a VERY quiet home where nothing ever changed. But when her foster home was bustling with people, kids yelling and music blaring, Annie came out of hiding to check out what the heck was going on. She was mesmerized by the little people. She’s short and they were short too. She didn’t want to be run at or picked up right away, but she totally found the kids fascinating and let the gentle ones hold out their hand for a sniff. It’s possible that Annie might like a little kid friend who is gentle and kind and likes to play toy mouse with her and then snuggle up to purrs and soft cuddles at night.
A cat friend is required for Annie Q. And love, lots of love, and patience while she gets settled in the house. And definitely a promise of forever.

Coco is a handsome fluffy boy. He’s young and shiny and full of joy. He has a big boy face, round and adorable.
Coco is so affectionate. He loves his people so much. He loves to be cuddled and pet and he loves to hang out with his human and be part of their lives. Pepe Le Pew is an adorable 5 month old kitten who is full of kittenish antics and sweetness. He’s a dashing black and white boy with his special face markings, half masked and ready to roll.
Pepe is full of fun and would love to have a playmate. He will definitely need a kitty friend in his new home, and if it’s someone who wants to romp around, all the better. He likes other cats who are nice to him and he is tolerant of mellow dogs. An older kid buddy would be great; he’s ready to bond with a human and be their companion. Neptune is a handsome boy, blue-eyed Siamese, maybe about 10 years old. He suffered a vicious dog attack and amazingly recovered from that. And on top of it all, he was found to be feline leukemia positive. He’s definitely had a tough time of it.
And yet, Neptune is the sweetest boy you could imagine. He is gentle and happy when he can roam about, explore the yard, play with a toy, get cuddles. He is fine with other cats but would be best as an only cat unless his companion is also FELV positive. Neptune is a wonderful boy who has gotten some tough breaks. He needs a happy family who will give him a great home, a chance for a great life. He will give all his love to have that simple thing.

Pixie, she looks the part. Very cute with her brown tabby markings splashed over a soft ivory coat. She maybe 2 or 3 years old.
Pixie is super duper loving with her people. She wants so much to be loved. She will roll on her back and stretch and get into the cutest yoga poses. She’s a people pleaser. She is still adjusting to a place with strange cats. She is curious about them but not interested in a close connection. That may be totally different in a home where there is more room with a cat that does its own thing. We don’t know about dogs. She’s a girl for a person who wants to fill their heart with the beauty and affection of a sweetheart kitty. She is young and curious and loves to stroll through the yard and observe the beauty of outside. She will need a safe yard.

He’s a barrel of fun and super lovable. Cookie is a little special and it’s sort of obvious. Even though he is about 5 months old, the bones in his skull have not closed normally so he has an odd look.
We love his look!
Because the fontanelle didn’t properly close, that area is delicate and more easily damaged. According to the vet, this condition may resolve itself or it may not. For this reason, Cookie will need a home without little kids or rowdy dogs. He LOVES to play and will need a kitty friend in his new home.

Lulu is a black and white short hair girl who is about 3.
She’s up to date on vaccinations and is fixed. Due to our child’s cat
allergies, we are no longer able to keep her. She gets along with both

Samoa is an amazingly beautiful calico girl with a distinctive beauty mark. She is about 4 years old.
Samoa lives by the motto “more is better”. She caught eye of that exaggerated beauty mark on her lovely face and knew it took a lot of personality to do it justice. She spent time with another kitty rescue group but the accommodations were not up to her diva standards, she behaved badly and it was tough to see the beauty inside. All it took was a different scene and she calmed down in record time. Samoa doesn’t like to be picked up, but she loves her people’s pets and treats. She also will stake claim on an unused corner of her favorite person’s bed but she denies being a bed hog. This much cuteness requires lots of beauty sleep so she won’t disturb yours. She does require that you offer the occasional laser light play date. She likes to have a good view of the goings on of her peeps, so she asks for a good window ledge, back of the sofa, upper stair landing, counters….she’s not picky. She also firmly believes that doors were created for dogs and she doesn’t care for closed doors or dogs! She is very opinionated and has lots to say, sometimes vocally, but more with pushes, nudges and bats.

Beautiful blue-eyed, blue-point Siamese girl, Stella! She is gorgeous. A blend of gentle tones and that adorable face, she is about 5 years old.
Stella is a sweetheart. She so wishes to have a loving family that she can give her affections to. She adores her people and wants to please them and make them happy. Arctic is a lush coated tiny girl about a year old. She seems to have shorter than normal legs although that may just be because she is a much smaller than normal kitty with a huge puff of fur that make up for her tiny size.
Arctic is a sweetie. She came from a colony that had a marginal home with a nice man, occasional food, marginal shelter, but the affection of a person who cared. She is so happy now to be in a cozy warm home with regular food and even toys! She loves to play. And she so much loves to lay before the fire and snooze the dark cold time away………….when she’s not playing. Like the other kitties from her colony, she loves to have a kitty friend to race around with and be pals. And she loves her people but she does take a little bit to adjust to the noises and movements of the new place and new people. But she loves to be loved, to cuddle and have her face rubbed oh so gently. She is teeny tiny sweetheart. Tubby is a quiet, polite, loving deaf kitty. He is a very large kitty boy who is about 5 years old.
Tubby is a gorgeous, short-hair Tuxedo who bears a strong resemblance to Groucho Marx. He is a big lovable boy who is very mellow, but he is also a goof! You wouldn’t know by looking, but he is deaf. It adds to his charm. His meow is more like a quiet bark. He employs a bit of physical comedy into his routine and does a head/chest plants when he gets pets, often into a corner so it looks like he is working on perfecting his head stand act. He may not be able to hear his people saying sweet things to him, but he does feel the love. He likes calm environments and may take a bit longer to come out and seek companionship, but he notices if you make the effort to love on him. He may not hear the noisy toys, but he really gets into the moving toys because there isn’t a thing wrong with his eyesight. He does fine with other nice cats.

Adorable little Fifi is a boy! Cute as a button he is about a year old and has the shiny coat and build of a Bombay. This little ball of energy loves to play with other kitties. He loves to play with pretty much all the cat toys, can’t get enough of the scratching posts, but goes craziest for the laser pointer. He is shy with new people but he is just fine being pet by his trusted humans, especially if they are in play mode. He loves laying at the foot of the bed but sneaks his way up during the night. He can be picked up and held by his foster mom, so with time, he may turn into a super cuddle bug. He has the sweetest meow that you barely can hear. He most definitely needs a cat friend or two.

He may be named Icky, but that is not who this gorgeous boy is. He has a magnificent BIG boy with a silky gray coat. Very Maine Coonish physique and coat. Icky just celebrated his second birthday and is looking for a loving, stable, furever home.
Icky has had quite the adventure for a young kitty, spending last summer outside, charming humans for a bite to eat until he was rescued. He is a lot of kitty to love and he LOVES to snuggle, especially at bedtime. He doesn’t always appreciate the human’s occasional need for personal space, but with this love to share, who can say no? For such a big kitty he has a very polite meow that he reserves for special requests. He does well with other kitties but the foster doesn’t have small children or dogs, so he hasn’t gotten to show if he would play well with them. Car rides may not be his favorite thing to do, but he knows that is not the time to try to hold a conversation with his family and lies quietly in his kennel.

Charcoal is a soft bundle of cuteness. She is about 5 months old and SOOO cute in her pretty gray coat.
Charcoal loves to run and play with her kitty friends, especially Winston, her big brother. She is feisty and full of kitten antics and makes every attempt to keep up with her bigger faster friend. She is totally adorable even though she is far too busy to pay much attention to humans unless they have a toy in hand. She is not interested in being picked up but when it’s time to nap, she will snuggle up on the bed and purr herself to sleep. Bethel is a handsome Nebelung mix about 2 years old. He has the cutest little nub of a tail as he had to have it amputated. Having come from a colony living outside most of his life, he does make you work for his trust. Once you gain his trust, oh my, he doesn’t want the pets to stop! He loves his humans attention and will head butt you the second you come through the door. All he really wants is to find his furever hoomans to trust and love. He also is very food driven, if he can see the bottom, nope, refill!
He relies on other kitties to show him you’re an okay human to trust, so he must have a kitty housemate and a yard to explore.

Kona and Kimo are adorable boys about 3 1/2 months old. They are so attached to each other that they would love a home together. Kona is the tabby boy and Kimo is a tuxedo cutie.
These cute little guys are playful and silly and huggable. Kimo is more social and ready quicker to come out and be part of the goings on; Kona is a bit shyer. But they can both be held and love to be pet. These little ones will need a home with a loving, forever family. A yard where they can go outside with the family when the weather is nice is also a must.

So many kitties. How is one to choose? Brown tabby? Orange tabby? Calico? Elsie has them all covered. Elsie is a pretty calico with patches of brown and orange tabby stripes. She is a little on the chunky side, about 2 or 3 years old.
Elsie is a wonderful girl who lived with cats and dogs and did great. It was when the 2 year old child came to live at her home that she became unhappy. She wasn’t ready for a toddler taking over the house and the humans’ attention. So she is hoping for a home with no littles where she can co-exist in peace with the canines and felines and her beloved human family. Elsie is very affectionate and loves her people more than anything. She loves pets and snacks. She is ready to be some lucky family’s pretty and loving girl.

King Arthur is a sweet guy who was found outside on his own. He was clearly someone’s kitty; he accepted people immediately. He can be pet and he is fine with the other cats, ignores the dog. But he clearly misses having a family. And he very much would like to go ‘home’ to a place where he is loved and cared for and will never be without the support and love of a family again. She was in an outside colony for the first half of her life, then in a cage for the next half…Then, finally she was given the option of comfort and freedom.
Willow loves cuddles and loves getting pets on her head. She begs for them! She does not yet know how to tell you that she wants your love, but she is learning. She welcomes being held and given attention. She likes other brave kitties and possibly doggies too. She is reserved at first and likes a safe place in her home, but is gathering courage to venture out and get to know her people.

Valeris is a young boy who is drop-dead gorgeous. He has that Maine Coon look without being overly huge, a sleek lean muscular guy. He is about a year or two old.
Valeris is very sweet though he is cautious with strangers. All he needs is someone willing to give him the time to trust and he will be a lovebug. He really tries to be loved; he wants to be what his humans want him to be. He seems fine with other nice cats; we don’t know his history so we don’t know how he would be with dogs. He loves to climb and hang out like a tiger on a high perch, all the better to survey the world. It’s a smart cat’s technique of doing surveillance and being aware of dangers and pleasures in his domain. When he is bonded with his humans and settled in his new home, he will need a safe place to go outside to enjoy the natural world.

Thomas is an all Alaskan boy! He’s a GREAT cat. He’s been through some stuff (like, why is he missing a toe and why is there a bullet lodged under the skin on his side) but he is one terrific guy. He is okay with MELLOW dogs and kids, nice ones of course. He is also a great explorer and hunter. This boy is ready for a great home where he has space to have some fun adventures and a loving family who will give him a great life.

Maverick is a sweetheart. He wants to be a tough wild kitty but he’s just too adorable and loving to pull it off. Hedwig is a gentle quiet girl who would prefer to live peaceably. She likes to hang out with her people, purr, get gentle pets, snuggle up and purr some more. She very much enjoys watching the world from her cozy window seat. And what a beautiful addition she is to any decor! But for her, beauty is more than skin deep; she has a lovely manner as well. Baby Kitty is a sweetheart. She lost her home when her owners moved. She is sad to be without her home or her family but she has a natural friendliness. Amy is a 5 year old female with plenty of kitten left in her. She is a people cat and loves being around her humans, with some daily outside time to hunt. We don’t know how she is with dogs but we do know she’s not fond of cats. 😉
Amy is a beautiful girl with an exotic past. She came from Dubai. Her family could not take her when they moved out of Alaska to yet another distant area. But she is hoping that she will find a great family who won’t be going away and leaving her behind.

Mocha and Tippi are not sisters, but they will be the best of friends. They are both playful kittens about 3 months old. Tippi is a bit older but Mocha makes up in spirit what she lacks in experience. 🙂

Pintail is a very sweet longhaired snowshoe or ragdoll mix with sky blue eyes. Her age is a guess but maybe 2 or 3 years old. She is very friendly, and ok around other cats. She is currently in Soldotna but could travel for the right family. 907 398 9128

We have so many kittens. Some are ready now and some will be ready in the next few weeks.
All CCCR kitties are fixed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Kittens needs feline companions to learn properly how to ‘cat’, so they can be a good kitty for you furrever. If you already have a kitty, then you’re all set! If not, you may adopt an adult kitty for them for a discounted fee of $40, or another kitten for a regular kitten fee of $125.
CCCR kittens love going outside so you must have a yard or outside area where they can enjoy the fresh air. A home check will be done for each adoption.

Friezen is a shy little guy who was found abandoned in the jungles of the Valley. 🙁 He is about 5 months old. He would love his furrever home to have another kitty and a yard.

Handsome! This big golden-eyed boy is adorable. He is about a year old and wowee wonderful.
Toby is a lovebug. Full of sweetness, he has dreams of being a part of a wonderful family who will never leave him or give him up. He spent some time living on concrete in the cold without any support system. What he wants most in life is to have loved ones, a home, and the joy of living. Which to him means cuddles, lots of snuggling and giving kisses with his person. And a safe place outside to play where he won’t get chased off or lost. He seems just fine with a mellow dog (or even a slightly energetic one). And he has done okay with some other cats.

Leia is an adorable little girl in the cutest tuxedo ever. Kylo is a boy all sleek and adorable. They are siblings about 4 months old.
Leia and Kylo are fun, playful, affectionate kitties who are great in a family home. They grew up around kids and cats and dogs. They would be great family kitties in a home with friendly critters and kind loving people. They are full of all the delightful antics and wonders of kittens and are sure to bring joy and amazement to their humans. They will need a safe yard to go outside in with their people when spring comes.

This sweet little angel was found going through some really bad hardship due to having babies at way too early of an age. She is only about 9 months old! The rescue took her in and she is now doing great, learning to be a well loved cat in her foster home.
Whimsy is nothing but amazing, sweet, gentle and full of life!!
We do not know how she does with dogs, but she does excellent with other feline friends and with her chill disposition and a patient home, we are positive she’ll be just fine with dogs too!! When she is bonded with her family, she will need a safe yard to play in, to enjoy the fun of being a kitten again.

Maeve is a lovely calico girl about a year old. She has short hair and a gentle loving disposition.
Maeve is a darling. She lived her first year outside under the care of a kind woman who fed her and gave her pets. So she has a great affection for people who are gentle and kind. And she loves other nice cats. She had lots of cat friends in her outside home and would be happy to have a feline companion in her new family. She would be thrilled to be adopted with her companion, Moira, but another loving friend would be great too. She is young and curious and full of purrs to share with happy people. When she is bonded with her new family, she will need a safe place to go outside and enjoy the natural world.

Handsome young guy with the sweetest way about him, Zero would be a 10 in anyone’s book. He’s got it all, looks, personality. He’ll be some happy family’s dream cat.
Zero is maybe a year old and full of the joy of being alive. He purrs at a touch and delights at getting love from his people. He does just fine with the other cats he’s around. And he doesn’t seem to be disturbed by dogs barking; not sure how he would be meeting one. But he has the kind of great calm and happiness that would make him a purrfect family member with all gentle kind critters, including humans. When he is bonded with his people, he will need a yard to go out in and enjoy the natural world.

Fireweed just had to have an Alaskan name. As the flower represents the change of seasons, Fireweed is ready to make the change of finding his forever family. This handsome boy has a playful, loving personality, and a medium length flowing coat. He is 5 months old.
He is full of fun and will need a kitty friend in his new home, as well as safe place to go outside when he’s bonded with his people and place.

This classy, elegant and mature young lady is about 1.5 years old. She has an amazingly beautiful calico coat that is super soft.
Moira was rescued from a colony of 9 and has been nothing but wonderful in our care! She is a little on the shy side but warms up easily. She does well with other cats and although we don’t know how she feels about dogs we are positive with the right supervision and cat-friendly dogs she would do just fine. She will need a cat buddy in her new home and a safe place to go outside once the weather is nice again.

Zena is a gorgeous tabby girl. But not your ordinary tabby; she has a silky, silvery coat with muted tiger stripes. She is about a year old.
Zena is a super duper revved-up girl. She is full of energy and curiosity. And love. She loves her people. She loves dogs, to play with them and boss them around; her antics with dogs can be hilarious. Zena also loves other cats but because she is feline leukemia positive she should only live with other felv positive kitties. Zena carries the virus but she is healthy and spunky and full of life.
Zena needs a loving family to give her a happy, stress-free home where she can have fun, race around and explore everything and be the kitten she so wants to be. If she feels threatened or stressed she will react by lashing out; not so different than most creatures. A playful dog buddy would be an ideal companion for her. And if her family had a safe yard that she could explore and play without meeting other cats, that would be fabulous.
Zena is wonderful and deserves love and a wonderful home. She needs a family who will care for her and give her the kindness and affection she needs for the rest of her life, whether that is one year or 20. JAX is a very handsome tuxedo boy. He is about 2 years old.
Jax is pretty sure that every hand he sees should be petting him. Simply a lover. Loves his people, big and small.
He likes venturing outside, given that he has been enjoying freedom for a while after his previous owner passed away, so he will need an outside space.
He has not had a lot of exposure to other kitties and we are not sure about dogs but he loves kiddos.

Beautiful Luna! She has tiger stripes on her face and a magnificent coat, soft and luscious; about 4 years old.
Luna is a gentle sweet girl who would love to be your special girl. She wants love, so much love, cuddles, kisses, sweet snuggles to nap by. She prefers a quiet home with gentle people. She has lived with another cat but the bond with her people is so important that she would rather not share it. She wants her own human, her beloved special one forever. She is ready for that and hopes that soon, she will find her forever home.

Swan is a beautiful young short haired female, about 1 or 2 years old. She is always well groomed and has the cutest little dab of black on her nose to match her little black cap.
Swan is great with people, and also she can be Ok with nice dogs and she has become friendly with the boy cat in her foster home, she would really prefer to be the only critter with her people. Goats maybe, horses, chickens, but no other house critters who try to be bossy or intimidating. She loves nice children and will seek them out for attention, sleep with them at night. She is gentle and sweet with her family. She loves to go outside–a lot!– and will need a safe outdoor area to play in when the weather is nice. She is an excellent huntress and would be a terrific help in controlling unwanted rodents. She is a lovely and wonderful girl to be your own special loved one forever.

Mully is an adorable soft kitten. She is just about 3 months old and cute as a button.
She loves being silly, and stays true to her kitten character. She was found lost from her kitty mamma and her siblings, crying behind a city diner.
