He is just a little boy about 8 months old and painfully shy. He comes from a large colony in Anchorage so he did not get a lot of hooman attention in the beginning of his life. But, he likes other kitties. He will allow you to pet him, but not willingly, yet. We have full confidence that he will come around given the time and patience. Breezy Leigh is a beautiful calico girl with soft long hair. She has lovely colors and the cutest little face. She is about 2 years old.

Breezy is a sweet, loving little kitty. She loves to be with her people and will purr and purr to prove it. She is gentle and will need a home without a lot of chaos. She may do well with other mellow cats and dogs. She will need a safe place to go outside with her family to enjoy the summer.

Meet the Sprites!  Many people call cats like us “Spirit Cats” or “Ghost Kitties” – we are friendly and very, very curious about our hooman foster family – but we are just too scared to jump in and participate.   We are never far from the action – always watching and dreaming of the day we WILL join in the fun. At nine months old we are both on the dainty side, have big eyes, big ears and even bigger loving hearts.

We need a home where the hoomans understand our unique personalities.   A home where they understand that our shyness does not mean we are bad kitties, it means that we need time to learn to completely trust.   We both get along well with other animals.   The dogs are a little frightening sometimes – we’ve only been around little ones, but we like them.   The same applies to the little hoomans, they are very fun to watch – but they are always moving around and we will have to be very brave to cuddle with them.

Cyrus is a lovely kitty gentleman about 2 years of age. He would be good with kids, cats and dogs. He needs lots of outside space. He really craves human attention so if you need a love bug, he’s your dude.

Scrappy (AKA Captain Happy), has had many challenges and struggles. Lost or abandoned, he was found alone with a serious injury to his face. Someone shot him and left him to die; but this kitty was too stubborn to give up. He was found and treated in time to save his life, however, he lost his eye. Now he’s a one-eyed pirate kitty! His injury hasn’t stopped him from hunting those catnip mice and destroying those evil stuffed balls! When he’s not chasing his toys or playing with his feline friends, you can find him snuggling his foster mom and purring up a storm. He wants love so much and he tries to show his love with cuddles and being a good companion. He does have one bad habit of nipping at his cuddlers face, like he would do to a beloved cat friend, which is not so appreciated by most humans. So children or those not prepared to tell him no are not a good fit.

Despite his struggles, he is a wonderfully happy boy! Scrappy is okay with calm dogs and most kitties, but male voices still make him nervous. He is a very loving pirate kitty looking for his forever home.

Sicily is a  Calico beauty with silky soft fur. She is about a year old.

She is very social with cats and dogs and would prefer a home with other pets. She is shy around new humans though so she needs someone who will take some time to work with her and gain her trust. She wants to fit into a family and hopes that her special people will come and give her that chance. When she is settled and bonded with family, she will need a safe place outside to go with friends to enjoy the natural world.

Tashi is a gorgeous creamsicle girl, with soft orange and ivory coat, unusual colors for a female cat. She is maybe a couple years old.

Tashi is the purrfect spirit cat. She loves to be with her family which includes cats and dogs and people. She loves all cats and is very tolerant of mellow dogs. She has one unusual trait for a spirit cat in that she doesn’t seem to mind chaos in the house. She goes with the flow. She is a great observer of what is going on and finds it all interesting as long as everyone is happy. Crazy kid antics–yep, she can deal with that; kids are interesting too. She will definitely need cat friends in her new home and a human family who is okay having her in the family without requiring that she be pet or held or carried around. She likes her people; she would love to bond with someone special to be her very own human. But she will take time to trust to the point of allowing much touching. For the family who wants a happy cat to be a great companion to their lonely cat, she is absolutely purrfect.
