ROCK STEADY

This solid hunk of burning love is ROCK STEADY!

His name needs to be capitals because we aren’t kidding about solid. Rock is quite a hefty boy. And he’s blind. But it’s hard to recognize it. Put a cat anywhere near his scent range and he can move as fast as a puma with the force of a bulldozer. He does not like other cats!

Dogs, we’re not sure. If a dog is in the path of a cat target, the dog is in trouble. Possible a mellow dog who knows that Rock is boss would be fine.

With people, this boy is a loving maniac. He LOVES people. He loves to be held, to be pet, to be cuddled, to be with you. He was clearly the beloved boy of his person till they had to leave for medical treatment. Now he has to find a new human to give his all to. And when he turns his love on you, you will be the luckiest person in the world.

Rock is about 12 years old, or could be a tad older. But don’t expect some dried up old couch potato. Rock has still got what it takes to be significant. He still loves to go outside. His former owner took him out with them, or made sure to watch him while he was out. A safe yard with a good distinguishable perimeter would be perfect. He is in paradise sniffing out all the cool nature treasures and exploring the bushes. He has mad cat skills and if any rodent should be foolish enough to get within his range, Rock will take care of it. (Applies to cats too.)

MISSY

Pretty, neat, friendly, lovable, Missy is everything a family could ask for. She has great house manners, the excitement of life, and all the time and the joy  in the world to share with those she loves.

Missy is a senior girl, maybe 10 or 12, but there’s nothing ‘old’ about her. She is lively and spirited. She is always exploring, investigating, padding around from place to place and she is happy to tell you what exciting finds she makes.  She does prefer a home that is not crowded with critters. But she does fine with another cat that does their own thing. We don’t know about dogs. She would do great in a home with nice school age kids or  as a companion to a hermit in the woods. She will bond with her person and be their devoted one forever. She loves to be pet and will arch up for head pets. But she does not require her people to entertain her. She is intelligent and fully capable of finding things inside and out to keep her busy. Missy is ready to be the best family for a loving human. She is a great huntress and loves to go outside and explore her tiny part of the planet so a yard or outdoor area would be needed.

If you’re looking for a lovely loving tabby girl who is an excellent friend and companion, please call us at 907 980-8898. She’s in Homer but can hitch a ride north to be with her new happy family.
