DARKNESS
Endless pets make for endless purrs with this big hunk of love! Darkness--that's his name-- wants all love! He’ll happily sit next to you and even flop over for some super gentle side rubs and sing songs of contentment with his purr. Even with only 3 legs, he's sooo happy.
Life wasn’t always this wonderful for this sweet boy. At one point he had a nice house with a kitty friend and a wonderful family and then suddenly it was gone. He was put outside with no option to come back inside his home. Confused and sad, this is how he would spend several years of his life. He became withdrawn from wanting human 
attention. Yes, he was given food, water, and some sort of shelter where he lived but it wasn’t the life he once loved and still wanted.
Then one day he came home with a badly broken leg. He was rushed to the vet where it was concluded that there was no possible way to save the leg. He underwent surgery to amputate his back leg. That's when Darkness came into a loving foster home with people to dote and love on him. In spite of this new mobility challenge, he quickly showed just how sweet and loving he is. How much he has missed that human love. And his appreciation and love for affection blossomed!
Darkness doesn’t mind other cats if they give him his space and don’t try to be his friend. But he would be just fine as the only cat in the house. He also will do fine with a mellow older quiet dog who isn’t rambunctious and overly energetic. He loves the bottom cubby of his cat tree for long naps and after having a snack he seeks out his person for that one-on-one time. He will be fine with nice older children. A safe yard where he can spend some time outside will be good for him to have the joy of the natural world at its best where he can be out if he wants. But he never wants to be stuck outside all alone in the cold again.

WINSTON
If you're looking for a cat model, Winston would be perfect! He's not a show-off kind of cat (though he does love to chat) but he can't help that he's so handsome and photogenic. A great face, a magnificent ruff, his easy manner and sweet gentle style.
Winston is ready for that real forever family who will treasure him even when it's not time for pictures. We think he is a couple years old and he's learned to settle easily into a home with other easy going cats. Dogs are not his thing so better no dogs in the house. But a nice cat buddy to hang out with would be great.
Winston loves going outside in good weather and will need a yard or outside area where it is safe for him to have his quiet time to watch the natural world go by.

MOLLY
Molly is a young girl around 1 1/2 years old. She loves attention and is an excellent biscuit maker. Her favorite thing is for you to gently pet her on her cat tree. She doesn’t like to be approached from above in an open space but on her cat tree she is ok. She prefers to come to you. When she sees you settle down she will run over for all the attention she can get for as long as you will give it to her.
Molly took a long time to trust people but has decided now that lots of love is a good thing. She does not really care for the chaos of her foster home and sleeps most of the days away in her cat tree, She would not do well with a dominant cat or crazy dogs/young kids. But a calm loving family with a nice cat friend, she is so ready to fit right in.
Molly may enjoy a safe yard to play in with her family when it's time to lounge in the sun and maybe explore the bushes for voles and shrews.

ALPINE
Alpine is an absolutely lovely cat. He came into rescue very afraid, nose scratched up, and his ear deformed from infection and frostbite. He had likely been living outside on his own for quite some time. But it did not take long for him to open up and show his foster what a loving and affectionate cat he is!
He is the very definition of a Velcro cat! He wants to be anywhere you are all the time. He will sleep next to you and put his nose in your ear. He will sit with you on the couch. He will walk in between your legs down the hall. He will wait outside the bathroom for you. Even though he's a big guy, he loves to be held and cuddled and will lay his head on your shoulder and cling to you.
If you are looking for an independent cat that will help with rodent control, Alpine is not your guy. If you are looking for a loving companion who will never leave your side, Alpine is definitely the one for you.
Alpine seems to be a little on the older side. He is not a fan of dogs and will not share space with them. He would do best in a home without dogs. He does great with other cats and the older kid in his foster home. He would likely do well in a family home with younger kids if they know how to give nice pets.
