MICKEY
Say hello to Mickey. He’s a big tabby boy, about 6 years old. He loves his people and purrs
whenever he is petted. He will watch TV with you, from the back of your chair. He will make sure you are properly tucked into bed by following you into the bathroom as you prepare for bed, jump on the bed and sit on your chest for one last pet, and then curl up near your feet for
the night.
He likes to drink out of the faucet, but only in the bathroom. He goes outside, but always returns home and he lets you know what he’s thinking, if you can understand Cat. He’s a big boy, tipping the scales at 17 lbs. He startles at sudden noises but settles right down. He doesn’t like sharing his people with other animals and probably wouldn’t do well in a busy household. But he’s a lover, on his terms.

ARIA
Beautiful soft ebony coat and sparkling eyes, Aria is more than a pretty cat. She is an amazing cat! There's no one like Aria. She's her own wonderful self.
Aria is full of the joy of life. She loves to explore and play and romp around and cuddle up close to her people. She's a couple years old and it shows. She's a cat so of course she sleeps a lot, but when she's awake she shows how much happiness life brings her. And that happiness is contagious. Aria can make you feel like everything is going to be just fine and this is another day to take pleasure in all the wonderful things that life has to offer.
Aria seems happy about just being alive. But there are a few things that she does not like. At all. And that is other cats and dogs. Nope. Aria must be the only critter in the house (maybe a fish would be okay).
She loveslovesloves going outside. She's young, bright, intelligent and of course the natural world is filled with treasures for the senses that delight her. She loves it so much. She must have a good place to go outside. But Aria is not at all inclined to run off. She knows about home and sticks close by.

SUSHI
It's every day now. Not just once in a blue moon. But NOW Sushi WANTS to be pet. Of course she wants to be pet when she wants to be pet. After all, she is a cat. She will even come to you for pets.
It's like petting a cloud. Sushi is so soft. A cloud who will be the best friend that your cat could have. There are two boy cats in her foster home and they both love love love Sushi. She is so sweet and so purry that the boys are both happy to share her affections with their people and each other. She is not the kind of kitty to cause problems. She brings peace and comfort into the home when she arrives.
It might take her a minute to adjust to a new place and new people. Her former life, before rescue, was pretty scary being out there all alone in the world. She learned caution. With other nice cats, trust is easy. Humans take longer. But while you are waiting for her to know that you are kind, she will be giving your lonely cat the love and companionship they have been missing.
Sushi will need to spend the winter inside, getting to know and love her family. But when spring comes, she may (or may not) like to go outside in a little yard where she can enjoy the lovely natural world in a safe and loving place.

JINX
Meet Jinx, the perfect mix of calm and affectionate! Originally found as a kitten at a construction site, Jinx lived with a family for two years. He had a close kitty friend, but after his companion passed, Jinx became more withdrawn, and the other cats in the home didn’t get along with him. It was clear he needed a calmer environment away from the other cats.
Despite his shy nature, Jinx can’t resist his love for pets and will come out of his shell with a patient adopter. Once comfortable, he’ll soak up all the attention you can give—especially head rubs—and even climb on you when he’s feeling extra affectionate!
His soft fur and fluffy tail make petting him an absolute dream. He seriously has some of the softest fur we have ever felt! Jinx would thrive in a calm, relaxed home with cozy hiding spots and maybe a laser pointer for playtime. Although he’s wary of other cats, he might do ok with a cat who won’t be in his face or want to play. No young kids or crazy dogs. He needs a calm home.
